Whole Foods Market

It's the only whole foods we have access to here in southern Maine. Thankfully I drive for work and this location is on my way to and from work. As a vegetarian Whole Foods has the only clean produce department providing access to a variety of organic fruits and vegetables! Especially love their floral department.

Bigger foot print of a store. Quality of Whole Foods and bigger isles. Been in some tight WF stores! It is well staffed with young eager and knowledgeable employees. Seating for a quick lunch. Big parking lot. Very good location and clean qrocery store.

I don't live near a Whole Foods Market, so it's always fun to shop in one when I'm out of town. The Portland store is impressive in size and has a great selection. From wines and beer to ethnic goods, salad bar items, dairy products, etc. That said, I was there specifically for fresh produce and was a little disappointed. Lots of wilty bins, it looked like the good stuff had been picked over. I'm going to give them the benefit is the doubt here, since that's not been my usual experience in a Whole Foods. Their prices are high, so I direct top- notch products. That said, I found everything on my list and the two associates I asked for help were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Whole Foods in Portland? Ayuh, it’s wicked good! The place is clean, organized, and has just about everything you could ask for. The produce? Fresh as can be, like it came straight outta the garden this morning. And the seafood? Well, you know they’ve got some top-notch, sustainable options—only the best here in Maine. What I really like is they’ve got plenty of local stuff. You’ll find Maine-made goodies all over the store, from jams to craft beers. Makes you feel good knowing they’re supporting local folks. The staff? Real friendly, always willing to help you find what you need or answer any questions. Feels like they actually care, which is hard to come by sometimes. The prepared foods section is a lifesaver, too—perfect for grabbing something quick but still healthy and tasty. Parking’s easy, and even when it’s busy, they keep things moving along pretty well. If you’re in the area and need good food and great options, this Whole Foods is the real deal. Highly recommend!

Whole Foods is a great place If you’re living a vegan or gluten-free lifestyle, this is the place to be. They consistently carry unique brands and new products that I can’t find anywhere else. It’s a bit of a premium price, but for the variety and quality of the specialty diet items, it is absolutely worth the trip.
