Always have a good experience here at the Sanford Shaws. But had to give a review today as Nathan(Front end) made my daughter’s day today by giving her a small stuffed bear. Small kindness really made an impact on our day as she was feeling unwell. Thank you!
Plenty of free parking, warm grocery carts or carriers inside, pleasant and friendly staff, large and wide aisles, large variety of fresh foods, wonderful salad bar, large variety of fresh cut meat and seafood, good bakery variety of fresh desserts available everyday, large variety of alcohol available, tobacco products up front near check out, plenty of self check out and employee check out. Maine state lottery machine up front near check out. Pharmacy availability. Large Variety of discounted items in store. Always clean inside and well organized inside.
I've been going here for lunch for a while. Basically since the Grand Re-opening after Kroger's bought out Shaw's. There has been some nice cheap sandwiches. However, the popular sandwiches are always out. And the Not so popular ones sit one the shelves until Expiring. I've tried bringing this up to managers within the store. To be told "Corporate tells us to make. How does it make sense to keep making something that isn't selling and losing profit? VS Making something that is going to sell, and making profit. It's a Win:Win. Make less of something that is wasting money, More more of something that is selling off the shelf.
i will never return to this shaws. their plastic forks are TERRIBLE. it SNAPPED while i was eating my lunch today. come here if you want your fork surgically removed from your body, after it SNAPS in your LUNCH.
Shaws, yours grocery stores are way overpriced. I shop in multiple different stores and I can honestly say you are the most expensive and your quality does not match your prices. It's awful!
