Absolutely LOVED this place! So many beautiful healthy plants! Prices were decent. Staff was friendly. Selection was HUGE. The parking lot was a little wonky and tight. Would absolutely recommend!
I purchased a 14’ River Birch from Estabrook’s and the entire process was fantastic. From Stephanie who helped me pick it out to Mark who scheduled the delivery to Erin who added fertilizer to my order and sent the best tree planting instructions - not to mention the very kind and capable delivery person who helped us get the tree as close to the planting spot as possible. This is exactly why we need to support local businesses. Thank you all so much!
What a beautiful nursery and oh so much selection! We purchased most of our veggie and herb starters from here for planting in our new garden 💜. The prices were a bit high on some things (e.g the mid height blueberry bushes we looked at were $50+ each) --I think this just may be a sign of the times and prices needed in order for Estabrooks to run a quality garden center. The quality is there so the prices make sense.
Beautiful offerings that are a little pricey, but the plants are well established and more apt to survive through the season and beyond. Lots of employees working around the yards offering assistance if needed. Everyone had a smile. I enjoyed just being there.
I never leave reviews but am very bothered by an interaction I had with an employee at Estabrook's yesterday. I bought 3 'Firefly Peach Sky' Yarrow there in late May. They are now in bloom and only one of them is the correct color. Two of them are red. I suggested to the man that they were mislabeled. He said it was probably my soil or how I fertilized them but they are all in a clump together and were planted with the same ammendments. He then told me that by next summer the colors would change and all be the same. I really wanted this color and they are hard to find so I bought two more because they were in bloom and I could be sure of color. I would say at best he was arrogant and slightly condescending - not customer friendly at all. I will not be going back. And yes - their prices are through the roof but gorgeously displayed.
