Exotic Flowers

Very very expensive flower. my friends all made fun because I paid too much. Then I went online and they were very right. $95 dollar for 9 flowers arrangement. All my friends go to Costco and spend 35 to 40 dollar for two dozen of flowers. 🤣

Exotic Flowers is the best. Their family style care and service.allows makes me and my family to feel welcomed. He quality of their flowers keeps me coming back. This was my mom's favorite flower shop and she always talked about Marie and Rick. It is now the only flower shop that I will buy from. Mom is still right. Again, they are they are the best. Try them out if you haven't already.

Exotic gets one star because the owner chose to lie instead of simply telling the truth. The orchids I received as a bereavement gift were growing from two separate ”root beds” for lack of a better term; one healthy root and one clearly dying & rotting. When I brought the orchid in to explain, I was told “there’s nothing wrong with the plant… it’s just very dry… they are like people; some robust and some small… leave the roots alone (though CLEARLY dried out with other roots still rotting and incapable of providing water to the plant), repot them in the tight container in which it came, and simply add one cup of water per week.” Meanwhile, the leaves and the flowers are steadily browning (he pulled off the browning leaf at the store) & dying, yet “there’s nothing wrong with the plant”. 👀 Like many things these days, I opted to simply Google the problem myself to fix it. Dying roots should NEVER be ignored… Won’t be coming back here; it was very easy to just say, “sorry we just sell the flowers, we don’t give honest feedback on proper care.” From the looks of it, the plant could have been sold in this condition, but without seeing the roots at the time of purchase, one couldn’t tell. Had I purchased it myself I would have made a bigger issue of it, but it was a gift and they were close to closing. What can I say? 🤷🏾‍♀️

I went to this florist because they're one of the original floral shops that I remembered from growing up in the neighborhood. Rick, who's been in the family business for over 30 yrs, recommended I buy orchids since I told him that my mother always told me to never get her flowers. She said she would become sad once the flowers died. The orchids I purchased were beautiful and the men and women at the Oncology Department were very appreciative that I thought of them. This place has an assortment of flowers for every occasion and they're prices are fair and reasonable. Come down and see for yourself.
