An excellent location for commuters and local residents alike, this Star Market is a lot larger than you'd imagine! With an extensive basement shop, don't be fooled by the smaller upstairs section. The range of products offers extensive choice at competitive prices; helpful staff and present security help the process feel streamlined and safe. Pop in, enjoy some of the extensive range of deli foods, Regina pizza, or simply fried chicken.

The supermarket has a very nice environment, but the prices are generally on the higher end and not very affordable. The supermarket targets high-end consumers. Quality control is handled very well.

The food court doesn’t provide napkins and sometimes even lacks forks. There are also three self-service payment machines, but none of them ever work.

Extremely unprofessional behavior at the service desk. We were unable to find a certain brand of cereal so we were asked to reach out to service desk. The employee (lady) at the service desk was utterly rude and yelled at us that she does not understand us. It was a pretty scary experience so we left. Of course, we are not shopping at Star Market again but for those new to the area, our advice is to tread carefully here and best to avoid the place, if you can. We hope the management takes appropriate action. Loosing customers because of unprofessional staff behavior is really not a good place to be in this economy. Thanks.

*Rude and Unprofessional Behavior from Employee at Pickup Counter* I’ve always liked shopping at Star Market, but today’s experience was truly disappointing. When I went to pick up my online order, Jerod (employee at pickup) treated me with open annoyance and disrespect from the moment I approached him. He sighed loudly, rolled his eyes, and leaned forward as if I were bothering him—before I even finished saying I was there for my order. When he asked for my ID, I kindly explained that I had my school ID since I forgot my wallet. He rudely refused without any explanation and spoke to me in a condescending tone the entire time. I showed him my app with the order number, but he continued being dismissive. After several minutes of uncomfortable back and forth, he finally said my order required a state ID for alcohol or medication—which made no sense, since I only ordered green juices and vegetables. Turns out, he was looking at the wrong customer’s order the whole time. Instead of apologizing sincerely, he just said, “Oh, sorry,” handed me my bag, and immediately turned to the next person without even making eye contact. I tried to tell him that next time he should double-check the customer name before acting that way, but he ignored me completely. No one deserves to be treated with that level of disrespect, especially when the mistake came from the employee. This was a frustrating and humiliating experience, and I truly hope management sees this review and addresses the behavior of their staff.
