Our son, got to have the very cool experience of building his own computer with Wil! He loves computers and tinkering around with older taken apart computers. The extremely helpful salesman(darn I don’t recall his name) helped us pick out all the pieces to build the computer. We scheduled a day and time. Then our son got to build it with Wil! Such a great concept! The overall experience earns an A+ in our book. Thank you for having such a cool program for kids to learn the components and making of the computer!
I have had only good experiences here so far. The people can be nice and knowledgeable. Depending who you get that is. Overall it’s a nice place and they seem to have good prices and great selections
Love this place! Super close to me and convenient. I have had nothing but positive experiences here from both the management team and sales team. Always extraordinary customer service, especially with my recent visit working with Jack Flood! He was super knowledgeable and easy to work with! Thanks for helping with my new build Jack!
-I saw that they responded to my review but I'm not sure what makes them think I would want to bring my computer back to them after all of these issues, for what? just to have them mess up my computer more? I went in for a simple issue and walked out with multiple issues that didn't exist before, so I have zero faith in their employees to get my computer fixed without causing even more issues. It's been about a month and a half since I took my computer there and I've been experiencing issues with my keyboard despite there being no issues with it when I ran a hardware test before dropping it off and when they ran their tests. I will not go back to Microcenrer. Went in for 1 issue, left with 2 (now 3 including the keyboard.) The manager gave me a $30 discount because of my financial situation, which I greatly appreciate, but I went in there for a computer wipe and reinstall of windows because windows crashed, and left with more problems. I paid almost $200 to go in and get one issue fixed and left with two issues. in the future I will go somewhere else and I would not recommend microcenter to others. Quality control just isn't there at all even tho they give you a paper with "quality control" info. No apologies for the issues either. when I got my computer back the first time, as soon as I got home and took my laptop out I heard loose pieces of like nuts and bolts that were not there before (confirmed by their own notes.) I had to go back and drop off my computer again for them to fix whatever they did. when I got my computer back a second time, I turned it on and was locked out of windows. when I emailed the manager and told them, I was told that there shouldn't be any password or anything set which doesn't help because there was. Thankfully I was able to bypass it and log into my Microsoft OneDrive account and use that, but I still cannot log into or set up a password for my local windows account because I'm locked out. they're the only ones who could have possibly set it up with a password since they set up my laptop after wiping it, but I had already done 4 round trips to drop it off twice and couldn't afford to go there/back again. You can wait for your service but it doesn't feel like you're actually encouraged to wait because there's literally nowhere to sit and do so (I'm disabled and can't stand for prolonged periods) and you don't know how long something is going to take. Overall, not worth the $30 discount as I spent more than that going there and back several times. No one even apologized for the 2 issues I left with and the fact that I'm now locked out for my local account.
The manager was terrible. His attitude was really bad and I can feel be racially biased based on my experience. I went to the store after i found a good deal of 5090 GPU was restocked. When i arrived at the store, i can find it was there for sale. I asked one salesman for printing checkout form. And i went to cashier. Things went smoothly by far. But then the manager came to me and said it can not be sold to me. The similar thing happened two days ago when i was trying to pick up for a friend's account. Their first explanation was "one household can only buy one 5090 in one month". But i told them i never bought 5090 in more than a month. Then he just refused the sale without any reason. i was mad at that point and i sweared i will never come to that micro center again with that manager inside. Another weird thing is that low price 5090 was in stock for the whole afternoon and night. But it went out of stock at the time of closing store. So i highly suspect the manager prevented anyone else to buy it at the first day of restocking so that he can ask his person to buy it after closing store? Highly suspicious.
