Store is amazing. The girl on the register Friday night at 9:40....wasn't friendly. Didn't great me. Over packed my 2 bags. I'm 67. Never thanked me or said have a nice night. Nothing! Just terrible attitude.
It's not my favorite grocery store but it has a good selection of items. Produce always seems to spoil faster when it's from here. There's plenty of free parking and the staff are really great. The building itself is starting to fall apart and often has leaks.
Going to shop for a very elderly family relative, got everything but one very specific candy they wanted. Jean (one of the associates working at the store) searched high and low for me. Even though we couldn’t find it, he was a gentleman and worked hard to help me. Thank you Jean. You are a good man.
Great spot for weekly groceries. Fresh veggies, fruit, good cheese selection, nice bakery, and solid seafood and meat. Prices are reasonable and they always have deals going on. Makes the weekly shop actually enjoyable.
I live nearby and the prices here seem to just keep getting higher and higher! It’s quite sad when you can’t even shop at your local supermarket because they are out of your price range. I only go here when they have a decent sale. Besides that for staple items I go elsewhere. They do have a Starbucks in the store & a pharmacy which is convenient but even with those conveniences it’s still not worth paying the prices they ask for items. I can say that the seafood department at Star is the best out of all the seafood in all the seafood in all the supermarket chains. It is always fresh and worth every penny. When you live in NE you know fresh seafood. I’d rather pay for good seafood then waste my money on bad seafood and have to throw it away.
