This is the worst supermarket I’ve ever been to. Want to pay premium prices for completely unacceptable quality? Shop here! Produce is consistently terrible, sometimes even rotting (make sure to check the center of your bunches), the meats are almost always very oxidized and torn up, the fish looks like it was cut by a lawnmower. That fillet paid premium prices for? It hasn’t been cleaned or scaled somehow. Your choices of fruit are either 5 weeks from ripe or already rotting in the center. It is almost like they try to be consistently terrible.

I typically don’t leave bad reviews for places, and my hope is someone will catch this to improve their service. I just checked out in the regular checkout and the cashier NOT only did NOT help me bag any groceries, but stood at the register with a line of people behind and watched me bag everything. I was not asking to bag all, as I did 90% of it, but the last bag as I’m checking out… like bro do at least do the minimum.

This place is ridiculous. 3 of my items scanned at a higher price than was shown on the shelf. It took forever to get an associate to help, and although MA state law mandates that an incorrectly scanned item be given for free (flyers explaining this were all over the check out area), the associate tried his best to avoid honoring this. The store is a mess, with very little staff to support it. That’s without mentioning how exorbitant the prices are, even for basic items. I honestly felt relieved once I left the store, definitely will not come back here again.

Understaffed, poorly stocked and poorly managed. Every pickup or delivery order I've ever placed more than half of the items have been out of stock. If you want a delivery order after 4pm don't waste your time. Delivery is a joke, they mess your order up every time and no matter how many times you report it to management it never gets any better. The cosmetic improvement on the location does not matter if you're not training your people properly. I'd give zero stars if i could. Delivery and pick up orders are supposed to be convenient and this store is anything but. And don't get me started on how many items in your order will expire the next day. Unbelievable given how much they charge for everything. Shopping here is a waste of time and money.

Every day this past week, I've wanted to buy their Caesar salads, but the lettuce is always looking like this; pink and brown. New to Star Market, but I now know never to expect fresh salads at their locations.
