Valerie was recommended by a friend. I am so happy that she did. I called on a Friday, before a snowstorm, and ordered flowers. She personally delivered a beautiful arrangement in the snow. She created exactly what I asked for. Several times in the past I have ordered flowers online and what I ordered and what was delivered were 2 different things. I will definitely use Valerie in the future. She listens and then creates what you asked for.

Valerie saved the day when another florist somehow “lost” my order for my wedding bouquet and table arrangement. She made me the most beautiful bouquet on very short notice , and even accommodated me so I could pick up on a Sunday.

It's two days before Valentine's day and I wanted to order some flowers for delivery. Valerie was very patient and worked to make sure she could fit my order into the busy holiday demand. She made sure to take extra care with my arrangement order and set expectations on my delivery. I don't even need to see the flowers to write a review, the personal service alone was enough. Val at Washington Park Florist does an amazing job! If you need flowers delivered locally, she is the best. I don’t know what took me so long to review her shop (but I am here now). She did my uncle’s funeral in 2019 and has been our go to for flowers since. My mother will order flowers for folks directly from her (my mother has more people up there than I do) and they are always beautiful. She was so compassionate and detail oriented. We did a red, white, and blue theme to honor my uncle’s service in Vietnam. She found these amazing double lilies that I have never seen before (or since). She said when she saw them at the whole sale warehouse she HAD to get them. She picked the right person for those lilies. They were gorgeous and so appreciated (there is a close up photo mixed in the attached photos). Thanks for being so wonderful and talented, Val!

I've had dealings for many many years with Washington park florist. With the dance studio my family was with or even my work in Danvers that's uses them. That's why when we needed flowers for my mothers Celebration of life I knew we needed to go there. My mom was very particular in her likes and she hated what she called " funeral flowers" however the spray that Valerie created for her was absolutely perfect. I cried when I saw them because she understood the assignment. Her son was also amazing when I went into the store pretty close to closing and took my order on Thursday for Saturday morning. It was my first time having to order anything like this and I had no clue how to explain what I needed or wanted, but they got it. Thank you so much for helping to honor my mom. You definitely were an intricate part of it.
