Stop & Shop has started not posting prices on items, which is unacceptable. I was in the store today and found a large promotional display for Topo Chico that said “Buy 2 Get 2 Free”… but there was no price listed anywhere. No shelf tag. No sign. Nothing. I took photos as evidence. This wouldn’t be just an annoyance if the store didn’t also have a habit of overcharging for unmarked items at checkout. When prices aren’t posted, customers are forced to either guess, waste time hunting down an employee, or find out they’ve been overcharged after the fact. Clear pricing is the bare minimum for a grocery store. If you’re advertising a promotion, you need to show the actual price. Hiding it or “forgetting” to post it feels either sloppy or intentionally misleading. Until Stop & Shop fixes this, I’ll be shopping elsewhere.
BIG STOP N' SHOP & really nice of a selection and price for the area! Store was VERY CLEAN & WELL STOCKED! South Bay Mall does have a lot of junkies roaming around since South Hampton street leads down to the clinic so be careful where you park in this mall and DON'T LEAVE anything worth stealing in plain sight locked up in your car. But this SUPER MARKET has whatever you are looking for!
Within South Bay plaza, this Stop & Shop is very well located. You can come here in public transportation or driving. They have plenty of parking. ✅ Aisles are ample and clean ✅ Shelves were well stocked and organized ✅ be ready for this….. (drum rolls) 🥁🥁🥁….. they have FRESH lobster 🦞 🤤 I agree with the comment of other reviewers about the homeless people, but I have also noticed some improvement there. Self checkout is fast, the machines accept credit, debit, cash and EBT cards! 👏🏼👏🏼 they should have more supervisors in that area though as I saw customers that needed support. I would say they are truly a Stop and Shop.
You’re not good they suck I went over there to change my bottles on the machine outside. I called customer service and the girl told me that don’t change the machine because it’s dark outside. That makes no sense when I call it was 630 a night. It was still early.🤷🏽♂️🍾
I go here all the time to get my food drink and snacks never had a problem with anybody.
