Kohl's

I love Kohls, but I dread going to the register (self checkout or with a cashier). I'm so tired of being harassed to sign up for Kohls rewards, credit cards and what have you. If you want to ask me once fine; but no means no. As soon as I say I am not interested, that's when the relentless badgering begins. This is not a one time thing either, it is every.single.time. I go there the shop. The aggressive "hard sell" tactics need to stop. I just want to pay for my purchases and leave.

All the associates I've encountered in this Kohls are great! I placed an order online for in-store pickup, but there was no way to specify that I needed a gift receipt during the online checkout. The associate at the store (Melissa) took the time to look at various ways to print out a gift receipt and when it didn't seem like there was a way, she offered to return the items and buy them back (honoring my original coupons) and gave me the gift receipts I needed! It was really nice to have such a friendly and helpful sales associate especially during a time when retailers are extra busy!

The worst experience I’ve had with employees/cashiers. I took my client to kohls, she bought a card and some how the card didn’t make it into her bag. Okay no problem we call the store to confirm and the lady said we needed to come back with our receipt. Okay, 30min drive back. We get there and they tell us no one told us to come back and they can’t do nothing about it. They “checked” the counters near the register and didn’t find anything. My client was trying to explain to them that the card might have been wrapped around an item that she didn’t want, she had a few items that were taken out and put to the side. So we asked if they looked in the items and they said “yup we didn’t find anything, you’ll have to wait till our fraud department checks the cameras”. Okay we can wait for them to check them… oh no they only check them in the mornings…??? Come to find out the card WAS wrapped up in the items she put aside and now a WEEK LATER I’m bringing her back for another 30min drive. Absolutely Awful service.

I had a terrible experience with Kohl's. The product that I ordered well in advance for Christmas was never shipped to me. I reached out multiple times, never heard back. I ordered it on December 12th and it was due just a few days later. When I called customer service I had to pretty much argue to get my money back as they wanted to try to ship another product. The young lady Banin in Sephora at Kohls was amazing. She helped me find a perfect shade for a foundation. She was very nice and happy to help. And she linked my accounts together.
