One of the best Stop&Shops, beautifully stocked and well maintained.
The bakery has gone completely down the tubes over the last year or so. Cookies are regularly overcooked, bagels are regularly undercooked. Used to be great, idk what happened. Not even edible. At the fish counter, all of the clams are routinely dead in the case. Gross. At one point I asked the guy at the meat counter for a beef brisket, and he had no idea what I was talking about. He apparently had never even HEARD of a beef brisket. Scary. Last time at the deli I ordered a lb of genoa salami. The lady sliced it 1/8" thick and slapped it on the counter. Seriously? Is there ANY training for these folks? Those are just a few quick examples that come to mind. I'll stick with their #1 competitor. At least they're consistently decent. I will say that the cashiers are super nice - hence the 2 stars.
We were completely disrespected in front of the whole store. Paying at register, and being told "ahh 10o'clock" .... mind you have money in hand paying. Then got called losers and wierd because we were asking about gum while at register paying
Terrible experience. Never been treated so horribly by any bissness. disrespectful to customers. Like pushing us around and being rude . Yelling at customers over over time and close time. Terrible work place environment. . Sad really. Was called a looser and wierd. Just wow.
Clean floors.....Clean counters....Clean and organized isles....prices were good...fresh fruits and veggies....customer service was good also.
