Big Y

Love everything about BigY. The produce is great and plentiful. Bakery is great. Love the fish and fresh meat sections. My only issue is prices. Every item in this store is much more expensive that other local supermarkets.

It's expensive, I like that it's conveniently located out here but be careful shopping here if you have even a lick of color in your appearance. The amount of times I've been at the self check out and then cut off on front of someone who wasn't even at a register yet is a little alarming. Maybe it's just the entitlement? I don't really understand it but it happens when I come here and the employees don't really seem to help you out.

Lunch from the deli, go get it. The premade spaghetti and meatballs is surprisingly really good. Stay away from the Salisbury steak and egg noodles. Tuna salad on wheat. Free crackers and utensils.

I do my weekly grocery shopping- I love this location. Seems minor, but please fix the left exit door. It’s been broken at least all summer, and even though there is an adjacent right side door, the lack of attention to this repair speaks volumes to the lack of attention to detail. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, so I’m not sure how the person who puts the sign on the door every day, that it can’t be used hasn’t escalated the need for this repair.

Big Y is absolutely my preferred grocery store. Everyone there is friendly, there’s a good selection for everything I want, and the fish is always pretty fresh. I’m there at minimum once a week, but usually more.
