The bakery staff were awesome and went beyond helping me . Everyone loved the cake .

This Stop & Shop is wayyy better than I’m use. I live in the upper south shore, Quincy/Weymouth and this Stop n Shop is incredible in comparison. Not only is it clean and well organized but it has an abundance of healthy options in the freezer and pantry aisles that you don’t see at most stop and shops. Also the produce is above par in comparison. I rarely buy produce at Stop n Shop at my local stores because it is always horrible; old and damaged. I actually cut back on going to stop n shop altogether and switched to Shaw’s in addition to regular Whole Foods shopping bc of that reason and that S&S is more expensive in comparison. Also a side bonus is that the staff were really friendly, I had conversations with 3 of them separately in the last 10 min of shopping trip. They even have board games which I was browsing seeing as those are on my list of gifts to get for people for Christmas. I will most definitely be back! Good job Kingston Stop n Shop! Keep up the good work!

Price points on shelves are often missing or wrong, staff is very nonchalant and not very helpful. Needed a price on something and isle scanners were not working, I was told " I don't know, you have to walk up to customer service desk to get the price(s) ( several items were not marked on shelf with prices). Always short staffed on registers. Not customer service oriented.

I rarely find myself shopping at Stop & Shop in Kingston, primarily because their prices consistently lean higher than most other grocery stores in the area – perhaps with the sole exception of the Big Y right down the street. Still, I recently popped in to grab a few non-perishables while I was waiting for another local business to open its doors. The self-checkout experience, true to form, felt like an obstacle course. It always seems to drag on and be unnecessarily complicated. In my growing frustration with the machine, I definitely let out a grumble (or two!). To my surprise, a staff member who was nearby swooped in to help. I genuinely can't say enough good things about her. She was incredibly pleasant, patient, and even had a fantastic sense of humor, which definitely helped defuse my annoyance with my own fumbling at the machine. The people working at this Stop & Shop are genuinely a highlight, and I want to make sure that's clear. However, despite their excellent customer service, the consistently steeper prices and the clunky self-checkout process mean it's unlikely to become my regular grocery stop.
