Recently my mother, Ms. Mena, a long time patron of this flower shop, especially when it came to the ordering of flowers for her church’s altar, passed away and we thought that it would be most appropriate to order her funeral flowers from Mr. Culbert’s shop, since she admired and respected their work so much. Well, we could definitely appreciate why she felt that way! Mr. Culbert personally handled our request and fondly remembered my mom and her particularity when it came to placing her flower orders and clearly understood our request for a very special arrangement to place on her casket. The arrangement he created was incredibly beautiful! He went above and beyond our ask and we were extremely pleased with his work. It was as if my mother had ordered her own flowers directly with him! So, we want to thank Mr. Culbert personally for remembering my mother and genuinely listening to our stories of her and translating that through his flower arrangement art. We wish you much continued success in your business and we will be forever grateful to you for helping to make my mother’s last moments a beautiful lasting memory for all of us - her children. My first experience with this company has been quite bumpy and filled with frustration. My boyfriend from California decided to send me a Valentine's Day bouquet to my doorstep and specifically stated, "place on doorstep.” in the delivery instructions. Now, because I work during the day I was not able to have the flowers directly handed to me, but since he told me that the flowers would be placed on the doorstep, I thought it wouldn't be a big deal. The evening rolls around and I did not see any bouquet, so naturally, I called this company the next day and asked if they could be left on the doorstep. They denied me because due to the low temperatures, it would in turn, ruin the flowers. Of course, this makes sense, but I feel this should have been indicated on the website that flowers cannot be left outside during cold temperatures (as I am not a florist). The next day I called the company asking if they could attempt the FOURTH delivery yet again between 1-3pm as I would be home. I was promised that it would be delivered within that time frame. 2:30pm rolls around and I call them, yet again, asking where the bouquet was and the manager, Andrea, explained that there were some misunderstandings occurring among their staff, etc. She then offered to attempt the delivery herself and add in free chocolate covered strawberries with the bouquet of flowers. This of course, made me feel better and reassured me that I would finally get to see the bouquet of flowers with a bonus add-on. Unfortunately, I got a call back shortly after in which they stated that they couldn't deliver it before the time I stated (before 3pm). Feeling frustrated again, they offered to send me a free bouquet of flowers on a day that worked for the both of us as well as a full refund. Despite the constant delivery mix-ups and misunderstandings over the span of a few days, both Andrea and the other workers made sure that I still ended up happy - which is a great quality to have in a business when compared to other ones. Overall, if you order from here please be aware of any delivery mishaps as well as any misunderstandings occurring so you do not end up with a similar experience as mine!
