I'm biased but I love CVS I'm a part of their monthly care program where you spend $5 and you get $10 worth of free merchandise each month plus you get many more coupons available than the average person who doesn't pay the monthly subscription price. Twice a month I get a 40% off any regular price item which always comes in handy for larger items that I wouldn't typically buy at regular price. Plus it saves all of your points and CVS box they never expire and I just love CV s's all around the East Coast for their vast selection and their great pricing structure including when things clearance out after each holiday.
I am always impressed with how helpful the pharmacy and CVS staff are with their customers. They work very hard for us with a never ending stream of prescription orders, refills, insurance issues, questions, problems, vaccinations, locating products and more. I was so happy today to have a significant discount applied to an expensive prescription my cat needs (asthma related). I love the pharmacist who is not only warm, kind and quick to be as helpful as she can, but I trust her knowledge, skills and expertise in her profession. She is a STAR! Thank you CVS!
Waiting in line at the pharmacy is made (infinitely) longer because CVS allows customers to ring up all of their purchases- in addition to their prescription- at the pharmacy counter. This is a disservice to customers who are only picking up a prescription, some who are not well, or who have a sick child in tow. The front checkout has more options for checking out (automated plus cashiers). Establishing a policy such as: “To better serve our customers picking up prescriptions, only prescriptions can be paid for at the Pharmacy counter. Please bring the rest of your purchases to the registers at the front of the store.” would shorten the often very long line(s) at the pharmacy.
Michael the pharmacist, was absolutely exceptional! He went above and beyond normal care to ensure we received the prescription even though the hospital did not forward the necessary information. He spoke with the Dr. directly and sorted us all out!! So grateful for his diligence!
Unlike Walgreens. Used to get notification of prescriptions ready for pick up. Even though renewed at CVS I find I have to acknowledge and fall behind. Need to contact Dr often
