Derby Farm Flowers & Gardens at Piccadilly Square

We did a private floral design workshop with designer Kim Maxwell. She was absolutely wonderful. The class was super informative and fun and was such a relaxing and creative space. Kim had great practical tips that I will take with me, a deep understanding of the industry and such a passion for design. Her work was impeccable. She was super personable and made our group feel right at home. I can’t wait to come back and do another course with my friends. This is perfect for a ladies night or a birthday or date night!

I ordered some cut flowers for my wife for her birthday. We were very disappointed. I spent $85 ($75 for the flowers and $10 delivery). The bouquet was small (11 flowers in total), not what I expected for $75. To add insult to injury the flowers were dead and decaying in 2 days. I emailed Derby to express our disappointment and did not receive any reply. Update: a few days after I emailed this store, the emailed me back and called me to make things right. This was much appreciated.

Derby Farm Flowers & Gardens is a phenomenal florist!! I used Derby Farm for my wedding flowers for my November wedding. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces were absolutely fantastic! Working with Sonia and Marlene, it was easy to communicate with them about the vision I had for the flowers and they also worked with me within my budget. All of my guests and the other vendors I worked with complimented the flowers. I would highly recommend Derby Farm to anyone who is looking for wedding flowers or wants to visit an amazing local shop!

Incredibly disappointed today. This used to be my favorite shop. I bought a wind chime two years ago. The butterflies and bet have twisted. Spoke to owner who said she could try to fix. Staff today refused to fix. Told me to do it myself as she does not know how to do it. It’s ok if she does not know how to fix it but she could have kept the piece, suggested to discuss with the rest of the team to find a solution. It’s all about having a problem solving attitude for a customer. Truly sad that my beautiful chimes cannot be fixed because the owner of the shop changed 🥹

For my daughter in law's birthday, I decided to call a local florist rather than place an order with the usual online variety. I chose Derby Farm Flowers and I could not be more pleased! We discussed flowers and colors, and with the frigid weather, they were attentive to whether or not someone would be home. Their service was impeccable and the bouquet was delivered only a few hours later. By all accounts, it is gorgeous, fresh, and fragrant, and the note was even handwritten. Fantastic! I'll use them again!
