Shaw's

Won't be back. Second weekend in a row using the pick up and go. They had 6 of my 25 items not available. Whent in after picking up and was able to get all of the items easily. Extremely lazy. Update: had to go in to get the items that weren't picked. Everyone one of them was available. But was told they were out of stock. Went to customer service. Dominique was amazing! She got the manager Jess, Jess walked up and could immediately tell she was frustrated and annoyed and could honestly care less. No empathy no customer service skills. Wrong role for Jess BTW. Explained what happened and that there are people that cant afford to spend money on an order and then because of lazy employees have to come in and spend more money. Yes it evens out at the end of the week. But there are people that cannot afford this shit. You are offering a service and not providing it. I wanted nothing other than to be heard. Jess gave me excuse after excuse eye rolls, and no empathy. She should not be employed here. And then I heard her complain about me to another employee great job hiring Shaws. I will bot be back. I will go to Hananfords. They at least treat people like people.

Early Tuesday AM is the time to go. Just me and the other 5 old men shopping at that time. No soccer moms in inappropriate clothing running me down with their carts. Keep in mind that staff are still stocking shelves so some deli items and fish counter are usually not open and Im to impatient to wait for the staff to come back. For someone with anxiety issues in crowds it is a thrill to shop here. Parking lot is great because I can park my truck away from othetr cars. Even on a busy day their is room for freaks like me. Produce is consistantly excellent.

Love fresh pass! Every savings helps. I don't need to buy bulk items for everything. I can get regular sized items on sale. Produce is better at Shaw's. Pick up service is my favorite. Saving time and money is good business

The employees must hate their jobs. They never smile, they never say hello, and today a manager was irritated that she needed to take one step forward in order to allow me to walk through the small isle. It seemed she wanted me to walk around the. Fruit display so that she could discuss the new display with another employee. We usually go to Roache brothers which is a bit more expensive then Shaws. But the product is better and the employees are genuinely nice.

I order from Shaw’s and other supermarkets in app delivery. Shaw’s is the only one that will substitute your order after you set all with no substitute. They then say I didn’t select no substitute. Funny they were out of strawberries and didn’t substitute. Now I have to bring them the substitute item which defeats the purpose of delivering. I’m pretty sure the reacted mistake from Shaw’s will cause me to shop elsewhere with more competent employees. This order was wrong and no one there owns it. That’s the real problem. Own what you do so you can fix it and move on . They don’t so I might have to walk away from the organization as a whole. Stop blaming your customers and not holding your team responsible. They are not getting fired nor do I want to see that it’s a learning moment.
