Thank you Buster for me helping out with my project, you are a great example of Home Depot core values and how customer service should be. Buster assisted me in finding the pieces I needed to replace a broken hook up pipe drain to a dishwasher and a broken handle valve , especially for the valve, he already knew that it needed an adapter to fit correctly. Thanks again buddy.

Ordered a caulking gun and battery combo on homedepot.com and get it delivered to this store. Not only the caulking gun was used, ie. residue was left from the caulk tube, it was also missing the piston. Went to this store and try to get an exchange after confirming that they had the exact model in stock. The manager refused to exchange it for me because the combo has a different "SKU" number and ask me to do a return on the website and purchase again, even though there was no option to do so because it was "Out Of Stock". I asked if he could just sell me the caulking gun and the battery, which were both in stock in the store, at my purchase price to synthetically create the sale because I was not able to buy online, and he said no and the inventory management system was different from the online warehouse. He talked like I am picking up an Amazon package from HomeDepot. Hello? You cannot even sync up your inventory system and create a better SKU schema database? At the end, I was not able to exchange an used caulking gun AND a missing part, even though an exact same product was right in front of me. Moral of the story, DO NOT buy tools online from HomeDepot.com or take the risk that they may send you an used one unsuspectingly. And now I also know that the manager in this store does not take responsibility of the online order because the online warehouse is not of his business, I will never come back to this store ever again. Update 1/13: HomeDepot responded to this review on the same day I posted but seems to be nonchalant about the issue. Please wait for my complaint to the AGO and BBB. Thanks for the update.

This review is for the Sommerville MA location: Danielle in Tool Rental was amazing. I had questions about equipment and she helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She was so sweet and polite. I’ll definitely be back to do business with her.

Purchased a washer/dryer from this Home Depot, and was less than impressed. First off, it took a solid 30 minutes to find the right person to help us in the store, after being ping-ponged by about five people. From there, the delivery was a mess, as the guys quite frankly didn’t want to carry the washer and dryer up a flight of stairs, so complained the whole time. As a result, they incorrectly installed the hoses (note that the units are in a challenging cubby, so the fix of this is not simple). Speaking of the fix, never happened by Home Depot, I called the store, no one responds, go in person and the right person isn’t there, and then call corporate and get sent all around just to be told to go back to the store. Quite frankly, they don’t care, so purchase larger products elsewhere. Ended up having to do it all myself after paying the money for install and the warranty. EDIT: Filled-out their web form. No updates. They simply do not care.

The heaters were cranking at the checkout registers! Almost had to take my coat off while scanning my purchases. It was so warm! Glad the employees don't have to freeze while they stay on there helping people
