Stop & Shop

I shop here at Elm Street all the time. Very good well-stocked meat fish and produce section staff is pretty friendly especially Ann add Barbara two senior employees who are always very helpful and know exactly where to find everything. Unfortunately for me and has retired and I miss her dearly but Barbara is still here Manning the customer service station and is always a welcome sight to my eyes. Stores very clean and always has pretty good sales. Not quite as affordable as Market Basket but much more easy access for me.

Worse ever. 3 registers open only, 2 being a self check out with a long line in all three. Customer service not good. Very rude staff working, no good energy. Also vegetable selection was extremely low as there was no broccoli. I’ll stick with Mark a basket, it might be busier, but the staff is always nice in full of registers. Also a lot cheaper.

Every week we shop here for food. I highly recommend this stop & shop. They have everything you need. Members can use their scanners which help out a lot and save you time. All you need to do is scan each item as you grab them then scan the barcode at checkout. You also save money the more you shop there.

Not sure who the newer Caucasian lady is working the self check out today but having patronizing behavior isn’t necessary. She tried telling me I hit a button on the card reader I did not touch. Instead of listening she repeated herself several times smh listen to what the customer is saying. The card reader originally asked for cashier before retried the payment. People are so ignorant!!

If you’re at all nervous to ask for help at the store. Don’t be! Geneva stopped everything she was doing to help me with the self checkout when I messed the machine up. Excellent customer service and shes incredibly sweet to every customer! Super helpful. I’ll be back!
