We were deeply disappointed with our recent experience. Our family recently lost a dear family member. Allegan Floral sent an arrangement to the funeral home, but reserved them for someone outside the family. This was done without consulting our family. It seems greatly unfair and highly unprofessional to place the burden of delivering funeral flowers to someone outside of our family and close friends while we are still grieving the loss of our loved one. The funeral home staff themselves were shocked & embarrassed by this unprofessional behavior. Funerals are difficult enough without added stress, and the lack of sensitivity and professionalism shown here was hurtful and completely unacceptable. We would not recommend this business to anyone seeking compassion and respect during such a vulnerable time.
I bought a gift certificate at a local fundraiser that was generally donated by Allegan Floral and Gifts to receive a long-lasting bouquet monthly from their shop for a year. I left it to the owner Heather’s creative eye and the seasonality of her options to create the bouquets and was so pleasantly surprised by what I was handed each month. I got fantastically colorful arrangements which lasted 2-3 weeks regularly, if not longer. The photos are the bouquets from months I remembered to snap a photo. They were also great with coordinating my pickup days/time for each coming month. I took a few opportunities through the year while I was in picking up my bouquet to pick up pre-made arrangements and other items as presents. They have a very nice selection of both and I will continue to use them for lovely flowers and gifts in the future.
The work here is always beautiful. I ordered some corsages for my girls for prom. I ordered over the phone and gave them some creative license and was not disappointed. Absolutely beautiful. The colors matched and complimented the dresses perfectly. We were all very happy. Thanks so much for all your great work
