Original: Wow - just got off the phone 5 min ago. I cannot believe the crass and rudeness of the girl who just answered the phone. When someone is sending flowers to an ill loved one at the hospital I don't expect sympathy or even any sort of emotional support. However I do not expect to be given such a hard time to order flowers. I called the hospital they confirmed they accept deliveries from this very florist DAILY. She insisted they only take flowers on certain days = WRONG. And also insisted the flowers on Lily's web page did not come in a green vase, what I was seeing was green stems in a clear vase = WRONG (see picture). I am not sure why this individual was so rude or personal issue she has but she clearly does own the business have have the basic understanding of customer service. It left me feeling very sad and disappointed. I hope I never have to send flowers to the hospital again, but if I do I will not be through Lily's.
Amazing store, cannot recommend enough. The storefront is in a historic building and has a lot of character. The owner was incredibly kind, knowledgeable about her product, and even was gracious enough to offer a "trade" of flowers I purchased at a different store for flowers that more closely suited my needs at a discount. I will be returning in the future.
Amazing service!! I had flowers delivered, And when the recipient wasn’t home they reached out to her and to me to make sure they were delivered timely. The basket was also beautiful and just as advertised!!
My boyfriend has sent me several arrangements from Lily's Garden, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough! The bouquets have all been absolutely beautiful, delivery has been smooth (and often delivery drivers have a hard time finding my place, as the address is not on the street!), and all of the arrangements have held up beautifully! The people are also very kind and helpful. When I called recently to ask what flowers were in an arrangement (freaking out because my cat had gotten very close to what turned out to be Peruvian lilies, which, unlike other lilies, are not deadly to cats), the florist offered her personal phone number so I could send her a photo and she could ID the flower for me, which I thought was very kind. I used to work for a really incredible florist in New England, so my standards for a truly beautiful bouquet are admittedly unreasonably high - and Lily's Gardens has impressed me every time! Highly recommend making this your go-to flower shop in Ann Arbor - the arrangements are beautiful and the people are kind!
