Ordered a get well bouquet cost $95. It consisted of green leaves wildflowers you can collect from the side of the road one pink carnation and one yellow rose. I could’ve bought the same bouquet at Cub Food‘s for 1499. Very disappointed I ordered from Oregon and when my sister called me and showed me the flowers I was embarrassed and actually had to tell her. I paid $100 for the bouquet so she didn’t think I sent her a cub bouquet. This will be the last time I use this florist.
I was searching thru multiple options for Mother's day flowers from 1-800 flowers, pro flowers and a local shop in St. Paul. I came across Cottage Grove Florist and saw they had designer choice with different tiers but no pictures. I called to ask what the Premier size would look like, she explained it would be 3 feet tall with the vase and very full. What I received was anything but 3 feet tall and very full, the lily's they chose were dead and for what I bought I could've got more than double for half the price from any of the larger flower websites or even the local Hyvee/Cub Foods. After sending a pic they responded with the bouquet was to value. After calling about this issue I got a call back from Bill who said he was only willing to give a 25% refund and not even willing to send out a replacement order of flowers or another bouquet to bring the flowers received to the fullness that was explained to me. I would spend your money with any other florist besides this business.
Carmen met with me in person to brainstorm ideas. She was flexible and made changes to the plan based on new inspiration photos. She came through! Everything was as expected and was BEAUTIFUL!
I've ordered flowers from them twice and have been impressed both times. The first order was for my wife's birthday; got the "Fairest of All" basket, it was beautifully organized and she absolutely loved it. More recently, I ordered a dozen roses with babies breath for our wedding anniversary and it's an amazingly beautiful bouquet in a lovely glass vase. The delivery driver, Mike, went above and beyond the call of duty for this order; he provided outstanding customer service and just based on how he handled the delivery and his concern for the well-being of my wife's flowers, I'll never order flowers from anywhere else. A+ experience, I highly recommend them.
Cottage Grove Florist has been my “go to” florist in the past. However, I was very disappointed in the roses I ordered recently. Bouquet seemed to be arranged lopsided and one of the roses broke off in transit and was handed to me by the delivery driver after he handed me the bouquet. No explanation or apology. Won’t be ordering from them again. I immediately contacted the company and it’s been 48 hours and I have not heard back from anyone.
