NSE not only exceeded our expectations but blew them out of the water! I have known Mariah and her team for some time but to work with them on our wedding was a dream come true. Each meeting we had was a ton of fun and all of my visions, simply put, came alive on the day of the wedding! One of the most special moments was when Darrin and I were able to walk into the ballroom for our "First Look" with Mariah and we were speechless. Every detail, every meeting, came alive in that ballroom! It was spectacular, unique, and so very special to us. I would encourage all brides to hire NSE for their wedding it takes all of the stress off the bride, bridesmaids, families, etc. The weekend should be enjoyed and that is definitely what we had with NSE leading the way! We would hire NSE again and again and will continue to for all the events that come our way. You have a lifelong client!

My husband (yay!) and I used NSE for our wedding planning and I cannot say enough kind words about Mariah. She was attentive, extremely responsive, and on the day of our wedding was everything we needed and more. We also used The Vault & Superior Blooms (NSE’s sister sites) and the cohesiveness between the three provided a sense of ease that every bride (or groom) needs while planning a wedding. I would be remiss if I did not mention that Mariah filled the gaps that presented themselves: she was an attendant, a calming presence, and at the end of the night, she went out of her way to make sure a few of my best friends made it back to their hotel after our late night transportation failed to return for a final trip. She truly went above and beyond in every aspect, and I have no doubt it’s representative of the entirety of NSE’s staff. We also had the honor of having her daughter and mother present for assistance, which was SO cool — we love a family business! If you’re on the fence: book her. Your wedding-day self (the nerves really creep in!) will thank you.

We are SO glad we decided to work with NSE while planning our wedding! We did the Lift Bridge package and it was super thorough. Caitlin was our planner and she was extremely helpful throughout the process, whether it was answering our many questions or making small recommendations on decor placement for the ceremony. It was a weight off our shoulders the day of to have Caitlin in charge, it truly allowed us to just focus on ourselves, our friends and our family instead of stressing about decor or the timeline. Highly recommend!

Amanda was assigned to us as our day of coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing! We had a couple of preliminary meetings to get the planning going, and then our last meeting we went through every detail, and she understood my vision and ran with it on the day! She is very sweet and fun to be around. Amanda made sure that things kept moving at the right pace and she told us what to do and when to do it (because that’s what we needed)! They went above and beyond for us on our wedding day, and it was amazing because my husband and I didn’t have to think about a thing other than having fun! If anything went “wrong” I wouldn’t have a clue, because they were on top of it! We cannot recommend Northland Special Events & Amanda enough!!!

AMAZING!!! We booked the Northshore package with NSE and it was the best decision we could have made. They were so wonderful to work with from our very first correspondence to the follow up email after our wedding. They made planning from states away so simple and fun and really catered the day to us as a couple. They incorporated everything we asked for in the ceremony and more. Our flowers were beautiful and even better than expected. Our day was perfect and we owe it to NSE. We cannot thank them enough for all they did! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
