Hernando Flower Shop

I ordered a spray of flowers from here for a member of our Eastern Star Chapter in Byhalia. I was so happy with how beautiful they turned out. They really paid attention to detail and they did an outstanding job. I will definitely use them again.

Flowers were beautiful and very quick turnaround time on delivery. Delivery was flawless! Thank you for a great experience.

I do not like to leave negative reviews, but this really broke my heart when it comes to our community. I am a teacher in Hernando. Recently, one of my students lost their mother. I wanted to do something special with my student as a class family, as we have all been going through these last few months and this passing together. I called what I thought would be a caring, local, family owned shop to be sure I got what I needed. I told the lady I spoke with that I was a teacher, had a student whose mom had passed, wanted to do do a balloon release for her upcoming return, and needed guidance. She told me she would have them ready by closing that day and that they would be $62. I was shocked at the price for 30 plain balloons, but was willing to pay it for my student. I picked the balloons up around 4:30 and dropped them off in my classroom. The next morning when I came in, they were on the ground. I called and spoke with the owner. She told me that if I was to google latex balloons, I would see that they don't last longer than 8-12 hours (this frustrated me as I called a locally owned flower shop and explained what I needed the balloons for and this is what was given to me). Anyway, she also said that she would speak to the lady that took my order and that she would call me back. When she called me back she said that she could not refund me, but would blow up another 30 balloons for pick up the morning of. My classroom assistant went to pick the balloons up that morning and was CHARGED another $42 for the helium. After the passing of a student's parent, paying $62 for balloons to deflate the next morning (I should have been to either pick up the morning of or to order a different type of balloon to begin with), we were then charged ANOTHER $42. Moreover, a local/family owned flower shop charged me $104 for 30 latex balloons for a class family to mourn together. I am very disheartened.

Out of town people Beware. My daughter ordered flowers and when I received them, they look like a $25 arrangement in a little container. The sad part is that it was a $65 arrangement and I feel that they were taken full advantage of because they were not local and would not find out. They would’ve been way better off to order them from Kroger at least Kroger flowers were pretty. They were so horrible that i was ashamed for my daughter to find out. I would caution anyone that is out of town to purchase from another florist.

The online transaction was so easy and I love that it is with a local, small business and not through one of those large online companies. The arrangement was beautiful! I especially liked the delivery confirmation email with a picture of the arrangement.
