Friendly deli staff, lots of produce store was nice and clean. No checkouts were open and I had a full trolley. There was only one tattooed piereced and warn out staff member who looked like they'd rather be anywhere else than there. Carpark was clean and there were plenty of trolleys (carts) available.
I usually love going to Albertsons but not anymore. My family and I were buying groceries and our card wasn’t working ( mind you we had money our new card just wasn’t reading) our cashier lady was very rude and rushing us because she had somewhere else to be instead of being patient and helping her costumer. So we just canceled our stuff and went somewhere else and our card worked just fine thankfully.
My extended family travels to BigSky twice yearly and have tried on multiple occasions to utilise Albertsons’ grocery pick-up service but their IT system does not allow me access (presumably) because of my IP address (Sydney Australia). We can’t even order online while in the US (presumably for the same reason). I rang the Belgrade store to explain the problem (and see if there was a workaround) but nobody was interested. Pretty disappointing.
This was posted on FB by Mariah Buckman. “I just wanted to warn any who is disabled or chronically ill and you don’t look like it Bozeman Albertsons employee went off on me for using a riding cart. I have multiple health conditions however I don’t look like I’ve had 21 surgeries in the last 5 years. I had an employee state “ you are not allowed to use that” (he saw me stand to grab something from the shelf and I was also with my new caregiver) I stated excuse me? He said,” you can stand so you don’t need that” my caregiver also pointed out I had my walking stick inside the cart. This was infront of 10-15 customers around me. I turned to him and pulled my pant leg up to show him I am missing 1/3 of my leg and proceeded to state, “ I’ve had 21 surgeries since 2020. I have multiple health conditions that limit me from walking long distances. Yes I can stand and yes I can walk into a store. I also have a permanent handicap license plate. So just because I don’t look sick or disabled doesn’t mean I am not. It’s called invisible illness for a reason.” Community out there please stop judging people because they look “healthy” because most of us humans have more going on than what can be seen. It could be mental, emotional, or physical. Like people say don’t judge a book by its cover. One of the customers who witnessed this also gave me her number and name to report him. After she did so we stood in the middle of Albertsons and prayed. Here is a picture of Devon the employee that went off on me for using the driving cart while with my caregiver.” You might want to investigate Devon’s behavior.
Front end manager is unprofessional, go in to buy grocery’s and happen to get beer while with my son because it’s not like i can get rid of him, and this incredibly unprofessional woman refused to sell me alcohol because he was with me, even though he’s my son. I have went through the alcohol training course and that’s not how it works. NEVER ran into this problem at Albertsons or Safeway or any establishment until this woman. Never shopping at this Albertsons again, if that’s somehow store policy it’s ridiculous. hope they see this comment
