I hate to say this, but I’m glad sprout is coming to Carson. I’ve been to the One in Vegas and they have fresh fresh produce . Every time I go to the Smith’s on Highway 50 and Williams their produce sucks half the time they’re old. Yesterday I went to Walmart. They had the freshest Napa cabbage, and the best daikon Japanese reddish. When I go to Smiths, your Napa cabbage is old most of the time and your radish is not Japanese radish. I don’t know where you get it from. Your produce manager needs to go check out Wal Mart and sprouts. Sprouts also has bean sprouts in a bag. Two To three years ago. I talked to the guy in the produce department about bringing in bean sprouts in the Bag. He said they don’t have it because it’s hard to get plus he Had another excuse. Well if Foodmax can get it and sprouts can get it and Raleys and savemart and grocery outlet can it I don’t see why you guys can’t have it. Plus, you used to carry fresh watercress and now you don’t carry it anymore that sucks because you were the only store that had it. Now there’s no store that has it inCarson city. I like everything else in your store. But not the produce department. Another thing is your deli needs better help. Because every time a friend of mine and I my self Go to the deli to get fried chicken. It’s either out or they burnt it.. Well, just thought I’d let you guys know. Hopefully, something will change.. But I’m just saying I’m glad sprouts coming cause their produce is always fresh.
The women that work the self check out at night right before closing are always amazing. They’re super friendly and helpful. I usually avoid shopping here during the day because it can get so busy, but the people that work here have always been very friendly. I often do the curbside pick up during the day, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences.
I love this pharmacy!! Lisa is the best! You can't say enough good things about her! I recently transferred my prescriptions from another store to Smith's. Lisa handled the whole procedure flawlessly, she definitely knows what she's doing. She reassured me through the whole process everything would be fine and it was. Lisa is very sincere and really cares about the customers needs and feelings. Also a shout out to Ethan and the other pharmacist! The whole staff really cares about you and your needs. I highly recommend this pharmacy!!!
So I just want to tell you guys about my experience shopping at Smith's today. I want to preface this with the fact that I know we're getting close to the holidays and I also know that A LOT of people are struggling right now. So I can understand why something like this could happen. Also, some of the following information may be graffic, so you know, read at your own risk! Let's begin....I was in my car when I had a horrible realization. My period had started....and I had zero femine products on me. I was close by Smith's so I figured I would just book it over and buy some tampons real quick. I got what I needed, went through self checkout when I realized that blood was now starting to stream down my leg. When the machine didn't print out a receipt, I didn't think anything of it. My phone buzzed in my pocket as soon as I made the purchase and the machine said "thank you". So I scooped up my purchase and ran to the restroom to try to prevent catastrophe. By this point, I was actually a bloody mess, but I was happy that it didn't get all over anything but me. After I was finished, and I was obliviously just washing the blood off my hands, two female employees burst into the bathroom. One gal was particularly aggressive and accused me of stealing the tampons. I told her she should go back and check the camera footage because I DEFINITELY purchased the tampons and I took out my phone to show her the purchase had gone through on my end. It took some discussion, but another teller was able to confirm that I had, in fact, purchased the tampons. As I was walking out, the security guard called after me, "well, you just can't take merchandise into the bathrooms". And I just want to say one thing...you can't take SMITH'S merchandise into the bathroom, but since I purchased it, it was no longer Smith's property, it was MY property. And I'll take MY merchandise wherever I damn well please! If someone is stealing tampons, they are probably already in a pretty rough place, adding aggression isn't going to help the situation. But being that aggressive to PAYING CUSTOMERS is a terrible business model. I already hate going to the grocery store. Now I have to worry about being accosted by employees? This was obviously a mistake on the employees' part, but it was handled in a really negative way. There is no reason to be that aggressive to ANYONE at ANYTIME! Something to think about.... Thank you for reading! Happy holidays everyone. Please try to be kind....
I’m visiting from Redding, California, and I came into the Smith’s deli here in Carson City. I originally wanted to order a party sandwich, but was told you need to give 24 hours’ notice for a two-foot sub. That was a little disappointing, but I understood. What really made this visit frustrating was the service. The employee who helped me, Lacey, was very rude and unprofessional. She was the only worker wearing a hairnet, but it wasn’t fully covering her hair her bangs were left out, which is a food safety concern. I also ordered a 16-piece chicken at 3:45 and was told it would take 12 minutes. It is now 4:26, and I am still waiting. I feel like Lacey purposely delayed dropping the next batch after I asked another employee, Chris, for help. The whole situation came across as extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. To make things worse, I’m here because my sister passed away, and my family needed some food relatively quickly not in a rush, but certainly not with 45 minutes to waste. If I knew it was going to take that long, we could have easily gone to KFC or another drive-thru instead. Overall, I had a very poor experience at the deli today. Waiting 40 minutes for chicken and dealing with rude service is unacceptable, especially during such a difficult time for my family. I truly hope management addresses this.
