I work near by and frequent this store often. On 8/1 I witness the employees here perfectly handle an unruly customer. This customer was upset they had to wait in line for baby formula... The wait was no more than 10min! This customer was really rude to the employees but they all seemed to respectfully handle the situation. Although I don't usually require help when shopping, the few times I've asked for assistance the employees were always happy to help. This store is pretty clean and the bakery makes great cookies!
I'm sick.. so I sent my son to go pick up a family chicken meal from the deli.. my son came home with hours old chicken crispy and dry.. I called to complain and this woman on the phone telling me some people like that kind of chicken.. so I sent my son back to the store with the crusty chicken my son has me on video call as soon. AS the woman opens the box i heard her say eeeww.. then she goes im not replacing it because u guy ate some of it.. I'm on the phone screaming no we did not eat that we broke it trying to see if it was edible the broken pieces are in the trash I just didn't want to go in the trash to add it back to the box.. look at the chicken would u feed that to your family. @southernnevadahealthdepartment. This is what smith's on Decatur and Dessert inn sees fit to sell people.. and yes I did give my son a life lesson on value of money because there is now way he should have let them put that chicken in a box and give to him.. but he is only 15.. learning experience
I’m going to make sure that the truth is out there in the open for the Kroger corporation your customers do not want to grab a basket walk through every aisle shopped the items they need put the items in the basket get to the register unload the basket and then have to bag The groceries that you purchased. This is evident at every Smith’s location here in Las Vegas, Nevada. They never have anyone available to bag your groceries. This is outrageous and Smiths/Kroger need to be boycotted immediately
To whum it may concern, I went there today08/01/2025 to store located on decatur and desert inn to purchase formula for my baby, I ask the cashier on that section if she can assist me and with a nasty attitude she said i need to wait til she’s sone bringing people with full cars of regular groceries. I then ask a manager for help she send someone to hand me the formula and when the cashier saw me again she told the girl to only sell me 5 when i had ask for 7 cans even tho they had 10 available!! I ask why and her response was because we are low on that item. which was frustrating. There no sing that explain that at all. its not and an item that was on sale or digital coupon nothing like that!! I told the manager about it and her anwer was well every store has there own rules!! Yes tht was her poor explanation and customer service!!! I been a loyal customer for many many years and this is the 1st time they had make me feel this disappointed!! I did tooked a picture of the shelf where you can clearly see NO SIGN of the limit of formula you can buy and you can also see there was 3 left!! I’ll appreciate if someone can contact me, and explain to me if theres such rule to dont buy more than 5 cans of baby formula?!!! Thanks
The manager Cynthia should give private lectures of courtesy, professional conduct ,and a positive attitude twards customers, to other Smith's store, especially the one on Flamingo and Decatur. Well done lady, best employees, the cleanest ,best well supplied. To mention ,the greatest worker, JUNIOR at the produce department.Another Stelar employee, Martha ,like an octopus she has her helping arms around the cash registers to help customers move the line as fast and smooth as possible. To mention too, the most courteous man A.J ,the pit boss at the mini casino in the store .
