Haven’t been to one of these since the late 90s (they don’t have them in Connecticut anymore) stopped at one because I remember loving their focaccia bread as a kid grabbed groceries from them for the air b and b and the food tasted like it was still from the 90s 4 stars for friendly staff and cleanliness
Store was bright and clean. Shelves were stocked well. Meat and dairy departments well stocked. Produce department stocked fairly well. Cucumbers were soft and could have put my fingers through. They should not have been out for sale. Front end checkout was understaffed. However was bright and appeared clean. Prices were slightly higher than two other chains close by
Amazing in-store interaction, but sadly when I purchased a delivery order the milk jug that arrived had been burst now I’m trying to figure out what to do with the dang thing Edit: The picture attached is what I can come up with not happy. I’m hoping they correct this.
First drive up and go experience. Ordered night before heading to Conway for a trip. Pulled up and everything was brought out to me. Everything was cold, great quality items and carefully bagged. Made food shopping for trip so much easier!
There was more variety in the deli with hot & cold food. I was rushing to get 5 items, but the store wasn't that busy, so we actually got items that are out of stock online. I had a list, but my hunny wanted meat, more deli, and more dairy for him, lol. I spent $192 in food, so I am ready for the 3/28/25-3/31 snowstorm. I never go shopping hungry, but he was hungry, 😆 .... I love the produce section, but I bought a whole cooked roaster 😋, and an 8 PC roast haberna chicken. I had a list so I wouldn't overspend, but they were stocked around 2 pm. Oh, well. Thank you, shaws, for a clean, stocked store, friendly, knowledgeable employees, discounts. My out of pocket after digital coupons and selection of payment, I paid after discounts $4.14. I think I used 5 kinds of payments ( benefits, coupons, a little ebt $10. app refunds like fetch & ibotta). I can't wait for next shopping in store instead of delivery from another store (Walmart) tired 😴 😩 I miss working at shaws, in the bakery in MA, 27 yrs ago, but I hurt my back, then my neck, I have MS, so I am in constant pain, and can't do much but blogging. I would recommend Shaws before Walmart 😃 😊
