Melissa from Shepherd's Gate Flowers was absolutely incredible for my wedding florals!! From the very beginning, she made the planning process so easy and enjoyable. I loved working with her to create a vision board and talk through in-season florals, it felt so collaborative and fun, and she truly brought my dreams to life. Her attention to detail was unmatched. The day before the wedding, I decided I wanted to switch up the greenery for our sweetheart table, and she executed it perfectly without hesitation. The eucalyptus she incorporated made the entire space smell amazing, and the way she styled our centerpieces was nothing short of magical. The reception space felt so elegant, romantic, and dreamy which is EXACTLY what I had always pictured. She was not only talented but also such a joy to talk to and work with. If you’re looking for someone who can take your vision and make it even better than you imagined, she’s the one. Forever grateful for her artistry and her incredible eye for detail!

Melissa did such an amazing job making our vision come to life. All of the florals she did were stunning and all of the flowers looked amazing — no dead or wilting flowers. The table arrangements were stunning and she made our day so easy! We got so many compliments on the bouquets, boutineers, and table arrangements. After our chats, she saw the vision and provided great guidance on what florals would look good and what was in season. She has so much knowledge and needed little guidance from us which was great. Would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a florist for any event to use Melissa!

We did the PYO flower event!!! and I have to say it is a must, we are already planning on going again in the future. The farm is absolutely beautiful with an incredible selection of flowers, the owner gave us a tour of the gardens and was extremely knowledgeable about every kind of flower and was so sweet, always walking around willing to help and talk to everyone who attended. They had the most beautiful setup / atmosphere it would have been great for a picnic but we were so busy running around the gardens and taking photos we didn’t get a chance to, they also had a little snack bar overall such a great experience I can not rave enough about them

Gorgeous flower farm for wedding florals! Highly Recommend! Romantic and colorful flowers. Using Melissa from Shepherds Gate flowers was the best decision I made for my wedding. I legit cried when I walked up the stairs to our reception and saw the long rows of dinner tables all decorated. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Choosing a flower farm over a typical florist shop was not something I had set out to do but I couldn’t be happier with my decision to support local farms. When I first talked with Melissa, I described my vision to her but was concerned that since she is a flower farm, and you can’t pick the exact flowers you want since its all dependent on nature - I didn’t know if she could execute my vision. Let me tell you not only did Melissa execute my vision perfectly, but her flowers quite literally stole the show on my wedding day. EVERYONE was in awe of how beautiful, romantic, and whimsical the whole setup was. I picked a color palette of pale pastels in all shades. I told her I wanted shades of pink, peach, lilac, baby blue and yellow with pops of light orange. I was really interested in creating an English garden vibe with a wild and romantic look. Since I had such a specific vision, I purchased my own candles, tapered candle holders, and miniature bud vases though she does have lots you can rent from her. From the very beginning up till a few days before the wedding when I went to visit Melissa’s farm for the first time, Melissa was prompt to respond, caring and very keen to understand exactly what I wanted. I am forever thankful for the floral decorations and bouquets Melissa created for us. She understood exactly what I wanted and set up our dinner service just how I envisioned it and created bouquets that were jaw dropping beautiful. My bouquet was a loose hanging with lots of beautiful colored pastels. I highly recommend using Shepherds Gate flower farm for your wedding, if you are OK with a little flexibility in the exact flower you want and love that wild garden look. Having fresh cut flowers are so much better than any flower you can get from a florist. FYI – I visited the farm a few days before the wedding to look at the flowers that would be cut for our wedding. It was so fun! Melissa will take care of everything for you from delivering the bouquets to your bridal suite to setting up your reception. She has AMAZING artistic talent.

My most recent visit I had booked a private picking session for two and we picked flowers for bud vases for my wedding, and my previous visit was an end of season PYO event I did with another friend a year prior! Truly enjoy the farm and look forward to participating in future events!
