First time I have shopped this location and was pleasantly surprised with how wonderful the staff members were that had assisted me. The one standout person was Doug, a gentleman in the floral and produce dept. He was extremely kind and helpful with my needs in that section of the store. It was obvious that he took pride in his employment with this establishment. If he is an example the quality of people that this store hires, then I will be a loyal customer.
I’ve bought pizza from Whole Foods many times, and it’s usually been pretty good. Unfortunately, today it was disappointing. The sauce tasted more like ketchup than pizza sauce, and there was very little cheese. That really took away from the overall flavor. That said, I still enjoy shopping at Whole Foods Market and generally have a positive experience there. I hope this was just an off day for the pizza.
This is a nice, spacious Whole Foods, and we can usually (not always) find a convenient parking space near it. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, but not consistently. (Some aren't UNfriendly, but they don't seem eager to help unless asked, even when it's clear that we're looking for an item that we can't find.) Basically, I think they need more staff. The other reason this is four stars and not five is that the line of products has clearly diminished in some departments. While that's probably more a case of supply-chain issues and/or the economy affecting demand, it's disappointing... and leads me to shop elsewhere or - ironically - order from Amazon. This is a good store, but it could be better.
We used the grocery delivery service but have essentially stopped because they became totally unreliable. When you place an order they tell you when to expect delivery but it’s ALWAYS late or they have simply cancelled our orders after telling us for hours that it’s delayed. When you’re delivering groceries people are relying on to feed their family and items that are perishable if nobody is there to receive them, a big part of the service is delivering when you say you will.
Never thought I'd be converted to a Whole Foods guy, but I can't deny this place is wonderful. You pay a bit of a premium to shop here, but it is generally well worth it. The cookie bar is particularly attractive (to my sweet tooth), not to mention the selection of seafood, cakes, sushi, and specialty items.
