Scarlet Begonias did our flowers for our September wedding! Talk about flexible! We were all over the place and making changes (not that I recommend that :)) up to the end and she was always so nice and flexible! The flowers came out stunning and we could have not been more happy! Absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend!
Johanna did flower arrangements for my daughter's shower and they were absolutely amazing! Everyone was asking where we got the flowers. Can't wait to see what she does for her wedding!! Highly recommend!! Well, I didn't know how to add another review but the wedding flowers were spectacular! Johanna went above and beyond with delivering the flowers to the hotel for early pictures to having a small window to set up the venue and the results were incredible!
Just recently got married and Johanna was so easy and wonderful to work with. Even when we had trouble describing what we wanted or had absolutely no idea, she still understood and also came up with suggestions to help us and suggested things we didn't even think of. She's very responsive and overall amazing; goes above and beyond. My bouquet, centerpieces, accent pieces for the family, and arrangements came out better than I ever could have imagined. All the flowers she used were so vibrant and held up so well. She also put together our centerpieces for us besides just the floral parts. I highly recommend her for any needs!
What’s in a name? Plenty! When my wife and I set out to find a florist for our boho-meets-rock ‘n roll wedding, it was kismet that we would come across Scarlet Begonias AFE a mere mile away from our wedding venue. It was our first and last phone call in our short search for the right florist. Right from the start, my wife vibed with Johanna. After that first telephone conversation, my wife told me it was like talking with a long-time friend or sister. With the multitude of stresses that come with wedding planning and ours being no exception, Johanna’s easy-going nature offered welcome relief. Never did we question or doubt that things would turn out beautifully. Lovely bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids. Multi-colored rose petals for the three flower girls. Handsome boutonnieres for the gents. For our October ceremony with the Delaware River as the backdrop, a stunning, colorful floral ring of purple, yellow, red, salmon, fuchsia, burgundy and rust with assorted greenery, which Johanna moved inside following the ceremony, where all the tables, from the head table to the high tops, were adorned with similar beauty. But Johanna went so far beyond providing her artistry to beautify our event. For our aisle, we purchased several 3x5 and 4x6 colorful area rugs to be placed on the lawn. Our venue could not accommodate storage of items of that size. But Johanna not only offered to bring them to the venue with the flowers on our wedding day, but she even laid them out in her shop and placed buckets of water at the corners to flatten out any curls. When the ceremony was over, she rolled them up and placed them in the rooftop cargo box of our vehicle. We never had to give it another thought, as Johanna was on the case. My wife and I are so very grateful for Scarlet Begonias AFE. Johanna and her team made our wedding experience more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. I hope our paths will cross again in the future.
Working with Johanna was an absolute dream! From the very beginning, she was so easy to work with and truly understood my vision. Her communication was clear and consistent, which made the entire process stress-free. When I saw my bouquet and walked into the reception room for the first time, I was brought to tears. It was even more beautiful than I imagined. Every detail was perfect, and Johanna’s talent and care shone through in every arrangement. I couldn’t recommend her more!
