I had a very unpleasant (that is an understatement) encounter with Laurie from this florist today. I called on Friday to order a plant to be sent in sympathy to a family nearby. She explained that her stock was low due to Mother's Day rush but the arrangement would be delivered on Monday. I gave her my credit card, note and all the order details over the phone. Fast forward to Monday- no delivery and no communication. Tuesday AM I called to check on my order and she proceeded to tell me that she forgot to call, but they did not have the plants and they would try to get them sometime this week. She then told me it was my fault because I called so last minute and should have considered Mother's Day to which I replied, "I'm sorry that my family's death did not come at a good time for you. " She finished with "Maybe you should call someone else- I am not going to help you" then slammed the phone and hung up. Customer service- 0
Lori was incredible! She made a truly beautiful flower crown in exactly the colors I asked for on extremely short notice. Everyone at the baby shower loved it—especially the mom-to-be. She looked and felt so lovely wearing a beautifully handcrafted flower crown of her favorite colors. So grateful, and looking forward to working with Lori at Park Avenue Florist again soon!
If I can give Louri a negative 10 - I would . Called today to place an order . As I am a semi retired florist and have given her business in the pass and trying to fulfill orders of my steady customers when they have to go out of my area . Lorie said I was stealing from her , what does that even mean . My customer places a $100 order I give her a $100 order I don’t make anything on it I’m just trying to get an order out for my customer and give another florist some business . Again how Is this stealing . Please do not bother using her she is crazy , and rude and doesn’t know anything about the florist business . I also sent her 2 bad reviews she has and believe me she has plenty more , so she goes and write a bad one for me . The joke on you Lori I’m retired and don’t need any business you horrible person. You’re in the wrong business , I would always treat my customer with respect , shame on you … here is another review VERY RUDE WOMAN on the phone, told me I was too late and had a nasty attitude. I hung up as soon as she took the tone with me and ordered from Bloombar florist, who took me seriously and treated me with respect and dignity. A real shame that someone felt the need to respond that way. I will let everyone I know about this experience .

I would not go here again. The place was impossible to find and it doesn’t seem like an actual business open to the public. I just wanted some flowers for our wedding
