This florist is great and very helpful! I called at the last minute and they were good about getting the delivery done within a short time. ***Highly Recommend ***
Very disappointed and embarrassed by the spray that I purchased from them to delivery to funeral..flower arrangements looked nothing as pictured on catalog, ribbon request was not as I wanted, they stapled another different color ribbon ontop of the ribbon i wanted ribbon and staples were visible looked so tacky, placement of flowers were horrible and not even bloomed roses..will never purchase anything else from Penn Florist again , look like a child placed these flowers and pick them themselves..Completely disappointed and ripped off for what I paid and wanted verses what I received , never again!! You got me once won't get me again..God don't like ugly!
I'm not sure what's going on here. I've been ordering flowers for years at Penn Florist.... Holidays, birthdays, get well's, funerals, etc. Never really had a problem with their offerings, until recently. Yesterday I ordered, what I thought, was a really pretty flower arrangement that cost me close to $100 total, for a relative who's in the hospital with cancer. What was sent to the hospital was an extremely ugly bunch of flowers stuffed into a vase. It looks like whoever did this "so-called-arrangement" thought it was okay to JUST stuff flowers in a vase and call it a day, and not do anything to the flowers like a florist would. It definitely wasn't an "arrangement." It looked like a 10 year old picked up some supermarket flowers and stuffed them into one of the ugliest vases they could find in the house. What was delivered looked absolutely nothing like what was in the photo on their website. I can't even call a flower arrangement. Creating an arrangement takes effort. There was ZERO effort put into this order to get it look anything close to the website photo. I can see if the flowers were all different heights like they would be in a proper arrangement, but these were all the same height. I get flowers are seasonal and they sub them out... that wasn't the issue. The flowers themselves were okay, The issue is, not a single stem was cut to get this order to look like an actual arrangement All of the flower blooms were at the top and not placed all around to get that well-balanced floral arrangement. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The first time was in October, for a good friend's birthday. The flowers sort of looked like, but not really, the website photos...which was kind of okay, but not after I thought about it. The flowers were drab, boring and lifeless. The website photos showed vibrancy and color. It was missing the colorful decorative bits that caught my eye when I ordered it....curling ribbons, colored tissue paper and the colorful striped box. It was supposed to look like floral arrangement popping out of a gift box. It just looked like an average, no frills, no color, no decorative bits arrangement in some weird looking vase and didn't look anything like a gift box. I let it go, thinking maybe they just ran out of the things required for it. But I thought about it, they have balloons and they have curling ribbon in the store for the balloons. I don't know why it didn't come with the flowers I ordered. I prefer to order flowers directly from a local florist, instead of through one of those big flower websites. Penn has been around for years. I've been shopping there for years. Here is the problem, if I'm not getting anything close to what I paid for..... If you can't put in the EFFORT to make your product look even the slightest bit similar to the website photos, then there's no real reason for me to put in the effort to keep coming back. Pics below are what I thought I was ordering, and what I ended up with. The purple flowers with the purple case and bow are the hospital flowers that were delivered today.
I was not satisfied with arrangement I purchased. Because I complained I was rudely told that they have it on record that I am never satisfied and they could only recommend other florists. This is not good customer relations nor is it true. I returned roses that were purchased for me and had begu6 to droop When I called abou them I was told to bring them back. .I didn't know that they would keep a record. For what I paid for a funeral arrangement it did not look like what I ordered.
The flowers were beautiful. The customer service was top notch. My wife sent me to get flowers for my son for home coming… epic fail on my part as I order a regular bouquet. Apparently I needed to get a nosegay bouquet. So I had to come back to the florist with my tail between my legs and she was so accommodating. I did all the things wrong, didn’t order ahead of time, got the wrong style, but at the end of the day she took care of all of my rookie mistakes. Highly recommend.
