Want to thank Dorian for NOT taking on my daughter's wedding this past Saturday May 10. We found a wonderful florist who was extremely creative and took such personal care of my daughter and her floral visions. She even knew the venue Clark's Landing Yacht Club well enough to give my daughter a special touch. She was perfect!! Believe it or not she worked with us even on Mother's Day weekend!! Very professional, creative and a personable business owner!! We were referred to Wallflowers by a close friend of 40 years who used Dorian often and is a very good client. When my daughter called several times (no response) then she tried email and left a lengthy message also stating who referred her, but yet Dorian never got in touch with my daughter. After no response, we decided to go to the store (old and messy) to talk to Dorian in person. She was not in so we left a message with her employee and when my daughter gave her name her employee said, "o you are the wedding on Mother's Day weekend." Big RED flag for me !! Then it hit me...Dorian didn't want to bother with a wedding on Mother's Day weekend too busy of a day I guess. That's fine her prerogative...just be professional and let us know and we would be on our way weeks prior. Just ignored my daughter for weeks very unprofessional way of handling the situation especially when we were referred by one of her very good clients. So thank you very much Dorian for being unprofessional, rude and discourtesy. Due to this, my daughter found a wonderful florist with excellent people skills. She was creative and gave my daughter much of her time even though her wedding was on Mother's Day weekend. So in ending, good luck to those of you that decide to go with Wallflowers I hope it all works out.

Our flowers for our 11/6/21 wedding were incredible! When we first met with Dorian, she immediately saw our vision and ran with it. She has done a ton of weddings at the Spring Lake Bath and Tennis Club so she understood what needed to be decorated and what didn’t because a lot of the venue and views speak for themselves. She never tried to oversell me on anything, was very budget friendly, and helped me understand different flowers and dried items that I was looking for. I also loved that I was able to go into the shop ahead of time to see the flower arrangements put together, the vases we were talking about, and get a better visual. The wedding boom of post pandemic life is no joke! There were some floral and vase shortages, she wasn’t able to show me everything ahead of time, but stayed in contact about availabilities later on. Also, I think you need to be very patient with your vendors during this busy time. At first, email responses were delayed but Dorian provided a better contact information for her and we were able to get things done much easier. She was very flexible on payment, which was different from my other vendors, so that took some adjustment on my part but I trusted Dorian completely and everything was super beautiful for my wedding and I couldn’t have asked for anything else.

Dorian at Wallflowers was the key ingredient that tied our entire wedding vision together. She is unbelievably talented and truly aims to make her clients’ dreams come true. From our first meeting with Dorian she had a warm and calming nature about her that made this type-A bride feel very relaxed and at ease from start to finish. Walking in with my husband, family and vision board, Dorian took the time to walk through every detail of our day with us to ensure she could make our wedding absolutely perfect … and she delivered just that. Dorian worked with us to create the following items for our wedding day: Bride Bouquet, Bridal Party Bouquets, Flower Girl Crowns/Petals, Boutonnieres, Corsages, Ceremony Arch Swag, Chair Flowers, Welcome Sign & Seating Chart Swag, Staircase Railings, Centerpieces, Sweetheart Table, Memory Table, Juliet Balcony Railings, Cake Flowers and more. We even tasked Dorian with decorating an antique bicycle we had restored for the wedding and she made it look even better than we had imagined. Not only did Dorian decorate the bicycle for us, but she accepted the bicycle from us weeks ahead of time, stored it for us at her shop and offered to transport it to our venue for the wedding day to make our lives easier since we live 2 hours away. This is just a small example of how Dorian goes above and beyond for her clients. During our first meeting we established that we were looking for white florals with greenery along with pillar candles throughout the venue to create a timeless and romantic vibe. Dorian was able to source us our pillar candles and cylinders, as well as create all of our floral items while keeping everything budget-friendly. She never tried to oversell but instead helped us understand the best flowers for the time of year along with which items made sense to repurpose throughout different parts of our day to save us money! Once we were a month away from our wedding we met with Dorian one more time to go over all final details and she showed us mock-ups of how our bouquets and centerpieces would look in person, which really helped us visualize the final product. We were so happy with all of the wedding day plans that we even asked Dorian to do our florals for our rehearsal dinner the night before. Even though this was not added in until the month before, Dorian being local with a can-do attitude was happy to help. She helped add that extra sparkle to make the rehearsal dinner even more beautiful with a bouquet inspired by the florals we chose for the wedding day and bud vases with white flowers and votives on every table. This was the smartest decision we made because I took the bouquet home with me that night and the photographer used those flowers for the details pictures the morning of our wedding day. The day of our wedding, Dorian was on site first thing in the morning to set up and stayed through our ceremony and cocktail hour to ensure the items we had agreed to repurpose were moved efficiently and according to plan. There were also some surprises that she threw in for us knowing that my favorite flower is a white hydrangea, but based on initial discussions we went with different white flowers due to budget. Turns out that she incorporated them into our ceremony swag and Juliet Balcony railings which was the most thoughtful addition to our already stunning décor. I could go on and on about how happy we are with her work throughout the entire wedding weekend, but will let our photos speak for themselves.
