We had a wonderful experience working with Mrs. Varsha from the jewelry department on multiple occasions. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on finding the perfect solution rather than just making a sale. Her professionalism and care truly stood out. We made more than one purchase and will definitely be coming back — highly recommend!
I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at Macy’s. Your employee Zakkai who assisted me displayed a shocking lack of courtesy, respect, and basic professionalism. From the very beginning, the attitude was cold, dismissive, and blatantly uninterested as if doing the bare minimum was too much to ask. I will not be shopping here again.
Macy’s at Colonie Center in Albany, NY, has mixed reviews from our different visits. This location is cleaner and more updated compared to the Macy’s at Crossgates Mall.  some times we found that the store less organized, with merchandise on the floor and difficulty finding sizes.  Overall, we have positive experiences at Macy’s Colonie Center, few times have concerns about store organization practices.
I would give this place ZERO stars based on staff interactions with their customers. This lady screamed (at the top of her lungs) at a customer for looking at dresses on the SAME RACK SHES LOOKING AT DRESSES ON IN THE PICTURE . We all just thought “okay crazy customer” but then she angrily started moving racks behind the counter. So then it made sense that she works there AND she’s shopping at the same time. Now, if it was my mother she was yelling at, I would have beat her DOWN in the store. But I know she yelled at SOMEONE’S mother that day. So if you hate your job so much, FIND A NEW ONE!!
Went prom dress shopping with my 17 year old senior in high school. We live an hour away. We went to David's bridal and we went to azaleas. Had two dresses picked and azaleas and was waiting for a call about stock. So we went to lunch. We might as well look thru Macy's within 30 minutes she picked two dresses that she loved better than all the other 53 dresses we tried on over the last month. The store was laid out easily. I knew from looking in my phone we wanted to be on the second floor. The dressing rooms were big and roomy. The staff was friendly and of course signed us up for the Macy's card for the biggest discount. Totally would and will go back
