Walmart Supercenter

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Dirty. Not well stocked. I have to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to unlock the case. Then to top it all off, I got food poisoning from the chicken tenders. If you can avoid it, please do!

A grand marketplace of 2 stories, standing tall like a temple of trade. Unique, the carriage escalator is—guiding one’s cart between levels as if lifted by the Force itself. A marvel, truly. Orderly and well-stocked, the shelves are. A Jedi finds all they seek with ease, for chaos, there is none. Clean, the store remains—maintained with care, a sanctuary for shoppers. Most pleasing, the self-checkout stations are. A master of one’s own destiny, a shopper becomes—swiftly scanning, swiftly departing. No long lines to endure. Efficiency, the path to the light side, it is. A fine experience, this Walmart provides. Strong with the Force of commerce, it is. Return, I shall if my travels bring me back to the area.

On Wednesday October 15, my daughter and her roommate who attends UALBANY first went grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s, the went to Walmart after. After paying for items at self checkout they went to exit the store. The receipts were checked by Hammad(which is normal for Walmart) however upon checking said receipts Hammad then decides the girls had stolen. He calls over Asset protection Zack to check their bags (Trader Joe’s receipt on top of items in bags). Zack comes over and pulls the items out of the bag (which has the Trader Joe’s logo) and then states they did indeed steal from Walmart. How? Where exactly is the evidence they stole? Zack works in Asset protection so he has access to EVERY camera in Walmart. On top of the Trader Joe’s receipt and the items that says Trader Joe’s on them, where is the proof that they stole OTHER THAN THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN??? Isn’t this the definition of Racial Profiling?? Are people of color not allowed to shop and check out in peace WITH BOTH Walmart and Trader Joe’s receipt in hand (PROOF OF PURCHASE) without being embarrassed and branded as a Thief?? The girls asked for a manager (Emmette) and was told he was not there. They then ask for anyone in charge but to NO AVAIL, no one in charge was available. Interesting. WALMART WHY WERE THESE 2 young ladies of color harassed and branded as thieves?? People of color beware, we are thieves just because of the color of our skin.

This is a pretty good walmart to get food and whatever else you might need. They have at least as much space devoted to sewing supplies as the Micheal's there has and while it isn't the best quality it's serviceable for sure. I do wish the walmart app gave more accurate inventory numbers, I've gone there several times to get specific things that I checked to make sure they had them and when I get there they don't have any. They do have the most zero sugar sodas of anywhere I go regularly and I love that.

Really hate when stores lock things up for no reason. It just means you won't be able to get what you came for because nobody ever shows up to help. Wish I knew all of this was locked up before so I could do a pickup order or ship to my house instead. The smaller more valuable parts? Sure? Tire repair goop? Waste of my time to lock this up.
