DO NOT GO TO THE AUTO CENTER HERE! I ordered tires and installation. Two front tires becauae one blew. Came in for my appt. The service tech told me he could not install my tires because the tread pattern did not match my rear tires. The same size and rotation matched. Never in my history of purchasing tires have I had this issue. I am not being forced to purchase 2 more new tires I dont need since they are practically new, the front one got a flat and you should always change the two so THEY match. I asked why this couldn't be done. Employee shows me walmart "policy" Nowhere on this sheet does it say tread patterns must match. All it says is "to ensure all tires are rhe same, its suggested to have all 4 the same brand" suggested. NOT MUST. I asked for a supervisor, I was told there isnt one in the store. I asked for a store manager and was told again, there is no store manager. I said who's running this location? No one could show me any verbiage that says tread pattern must match. I had been in the day before buying the tires. No one mentioned this to me when I bought them. 5 employees were hanging out in the bay area NOT working on cars laughing and making inappropriate jokes within earshot of multiple customers. Do these employees just not want to work? Is that the real issue? How are they managed with NO MANAGEMENT ON PREMISES. this walmart is a joke and I will be calling corporate and I will be getting ahold of some sort of store manager to make sure they know what is going on while they are too busy to work. Side note: called tire and auto center and guess what! Zero issues installing only two tires tomorrow morning. Shocker!
I never thought that the world's number one company would hire such employees. The black woman in the toy section had a very bad attitude. She became impatient if you looked at the toys for a little longer. It felt like I owed her millions. I really couldn't imagine how such a rude employee could work at Walmart and deal with customers. I'm very disappointed with Walmart. I hope the leaders of Walmart can see this. Please pay more attention to the moral standards of your employees. It's really bad. It's disgusting.
On December 20th, 2025, around 11:30 a.m., I was simply trying to do something every parent does this time of year: shop for my child’s Christmas. To make things easier and to avoid holding up long holiday lines, I used Scan & Go, something I have done before without any issues. Before heading to the register, I stopped and made absolutely sure everything was accounted for. I counted my items. I double checked. I triple checked. I wanted to be certain, because the last thing anyone wants during the holidays is a problem at checkout. As soon as I reached the self checkout, the employee immediately began hovering over me. I scanned my phone, paid for all 18 items in my cart, watched the total appear on the screen, and saw the payment confirmation. Everything was done correctly. When I went to leave, she physically stopped me. She demanded to see my receipt. I showed it to her. She then told me it did not look real, even though she had just watched me scan my phone, watched the payment go through, and watched the register confirm it. Before I could even process what was happening, she tried to take my cart from me. I pulled it back and attempted to leave. That is when she began grabbing items out of my cart and accusing me of stealing. I was humiliated, shocked, and angry. I told her very clearly that absolutely not, this was not happening. I had paid for my items. I took what I purchased and left. What should have been a simple, routine shopping trip turned into an upsetting and degrading experience. No customer, especially a parent just trying to buy Christmas gifts, should feel followed, harassed, or treated like a criminal for using a store approved checkout method. I will never return to this store. This situation was completely unacceptable. Your employees need proper training, because no one should walk out of a store feeling embarrassed and accused over something they did not do.
Terrible Service. I went to pick up tires which were already paid for. I proceeded to go and purchase other items when the cashier said that “i had to go to customer service cause the tires needed to be scanned.”I said it was a pickup and showed the cashier, he brushed it off and directed me to customer service. I went to customer service, and he said to go to the tire pickup and do it. When i arrived at the tire pickup they said i was fine and could leave. Why is it that a cashier and the service people have no clue about such a simple thing. The tires has no sticker and was picked up therefore doesn’t need to be paid for. The cashier and service people both gave me attitude, and the only people who didn’t was the car department. This isn’t the first time having a problem, and I will be taking my business to ANY other place than this Walmart unless its an emergency.
Rear passenger tire kept losing air. Brought car in to replace tire. Had a 1:00 appointment and didn't leave until 3:00. New tire kept losing air. Had a friend in the car business check tire. The tire was never replaced. Same wear and tear on new tire that was on other 3 and he found a nail embedded in center of the "new" tire. They charged me for a tire they never put on. Called and spoke to the manager and they refunded my money. I will never use the automotive dept again!
