This boutique florist may be small in store space, but delivers big on impact and service. Terry and the team listened carefully and nailed it right from the start. They knew our venue (Vanderbilt Museum) inside and out, and all their suggestions were on-point. We were knocked out of our shoes on the day of the wedding. From the ceremony arch and side arrangements to the table runners and centerpieces to the bridal party bouquets -- everything was stunning and made oh so easy for us. Hengstenberg's over-delivered in every way -- thank you!!!!
Dorothy and her team (including her dog, Holly, of course) did an outstanding job from start to finish with the flowers for both the rehearsal dinner and welcome reception for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding last week. It was a delight to work with Dorothy to "co-create" flowers for both the small rehearsal dinner and larger reception following. She was extremely clear in communicating what flowers would be available, go well together and creative in suggesting what would make sense for different settings. When I arrived in town for the wedding, I was able to meet Dorothy, discuss options with the flowers at hand and finalize plans in person. The end result was stunning! (They also did the flowers for the wedding which were gorgeous.) The delivery logistics were flawless and the warmth and care of their shop came through along with the beautiful flowers. I even brought some flowers home (across the country) and they still look fantastic a week and 3,000 miles later. Thank you, Dorothy and Hengstenberg's team!
This was the 3rd time I've used this florist for services, and I can't sing their praises enough. You will never have to worry about their arrangements and the quality of the flowers... you definitely get more than expected and pay for. Figures the 1 star reviews are the over inflated pompous GC crowd that could never be satisfied. I've been coming here for years. Customer service is always friendly and on point and the selection of flowers is always in abundance ANYTIME OF THE YEAR. Great job to all that work here. Some of us quiet neighbors see the quality and appreciate it.
I ordered a birthday arrangement from their website last night for a very close friend of mine to have delivered. I always hesitate to order flowers online because the arrangements rarely look like the picture, but I'm familiar with this florist having passed it many times, and it also has an excellent reputation in Garden City. Based on that I decided to just go ahead and order. They did not disappoint! My friend called me today after they were delivered and said they were the most gorgeous flowers that she had ever seen! She sent me photos and honestly they were more beautiful than the photo on their website! Don't hesitate to use this florist. Highest quality and outstanding service! Thank you!
