With the loss of Jo-Ann's we have very few options. I was able to find what I needed here but the selection is very limited. Store was not cluttered and mainly clean. It is what it is for craft store.

This store, this chain is in a race to see how little customer service they can provide and still stay open. They ripped out price checkers but don't fool yourself into thinking everything has a price on it. I inconvenienced the old man who works there after I practically chased him down. He was annoyed flat out, don't bother me. Don't you have the app? NO I don't and I don't want it stinking up my phone. "Wasn't the price listed?" No, again, that's why I'm stuck dealing with you. Price check? DIY, ring up my order? DIY and that saccharine robotic Thank you for shopping at Michael's. Ooh I feel so loved

Based on my experience, I recommend avoiding this Hartsdale store, especially if you need to review options or services with staff. I visited this Michaels yesterday, and one staff member was rude—after ignoring me, he made comments behind my back to another employee, implying that I was not going to buy anything. The customer service associate that came after, was however, was very helpful. I am leaving one star due to additional safety concerns: the parking lot was poorly illuminated, and the crosswalk markings on the pavement were almost completely faded. As a result, a driver outside took a long time to stop while I was crossing, which felt unsafe and stressful.

This location sucks. They didn’t make my balloon order, then the sales person spent 15 min slowly and casually walking around the store searching for the order. I asked what’s happening- no response. I demanded they remake the order, and with an attitude ultimately they did, but the communication and customer service was complete trash. If you mess up a customer’s order and waste their time the least you can do is apologize and communicate to them what you’re going to do to fix the error. It’s that simple.

Nice large location with lots of supplies for all kind of hobbies and crafts. Also has lots of home decorations for all the holidays. Decent prices and good sales and discounts as well. Lots of friendly and helpful employees.
