Stop & Shop is one of those stores that really impresses you the moment you walk in. The place looks amazing — bright, clean, and well-organized. The aisles are easy to navigate, everything is neatly stocked, and the store has a very welcoming feel. You can tell the team here takes pride in keeping the store looking its absolute best. From the produce section to the bakery, everything is displayed beautifully and makes shopping feel like a pleasant experience. The staff is another major highlight. Every employee I’ve come across has been friendly, helpful, and attentive. Whether you’re asking for help finding an item or need assistance at the register, the workers here always go out of their way to make the experience smooth. Great customer service is hard to find these days, but this Stop & Shop does it right. The reason for the 3-star rating, though, comes down to the prices. While the store looks fantastic, many items are noticeably higher compared to other grocery stores in the area. Even everyday essentials seem to run a bit more expensive, which makes it tough to do a full weekly shop without spending more than expected. Overall, Stop & Shop is a beautiful, well-run store with excellent staff — but the high prices bring the rating down.

Today, Stop & Shop get two thumbs down for poor customer service. My husband and I shop here on a weekly basis but lately the both of us have been displeased with their customer service. Today my customer service representative name was Zach, I greeted him with a hello 2xs and I got nothing in return. There were two things he said to me, do you have a store card or do you have a phone number. Mind you this is not the first time this has happened to either me or my husband. After he rang up all of the groceries, I then realized that I left my wallet in my car and told him that I would be right back. When I walked back into the store and proceeded to the checkout area he started pointing at me as if I done something wrong. With a blank stare I had four other people just staring at me. So, I said why are you all looking at me and Zach replied no reason. I had him my money to complete the transaction, he drops my change in my hand shuts off his light and walks away with one of the four others that were staring at me, who I asked someone who she was and they said the manager. I get outside and who do I see Zach and the manager loading up a vehicle that was parked in the Fire Zone with music just as loud as it could be. This is poor leadership and poor customer service. We spend a lot of money in this store and we deserve better service. 👎🏾👎🏾

Stop & Shop is amazing service and store is very clean as well We have sushi bar in our store. Please come and try beautiful sushi for lunch or dinner I make daily fresh and Our Company using Grade A Level fish so please come and try our sushi 🥳

I had to return TWO rotten steaks today (at the Hyde Park Store). Brought home the first one and opened it for the charcoal grill I started and it was bad. So I drove back with it and got another hoping the entire batch was not rotten. But the 2nd one was worse! Drove back again and got my money back. I told the courtesy counter you have a problem and that a manager needs to be told. I was minimally compensated but felt dismissed regarding the bigger issue. I’ll be back tomorrow with my camera. If those rotten steaks are still there there’s going to be a photo shoot and a social media blast that’s going to knock your socks off as fast as the smelly steak did to mine. My wife and I do most of our grocery shopping at this S & S. I'm writing personally to say that I appreciate the professionalism of your employees. I'd like to personally thank Berta at the self-checkout who's always quick to help and convivial. The same is true of John who does a great job in refreshing the supply of carts. John always gives a warm greeting and a friendly comment and does his job very well. Although I personally don't like grocery shopping, they both are warm and personal, and go a long way toward making a sometime disagreeable task easier to accept! I also found out that they are longtime employees which speaks well to your management style. Thanks guys! Dennis Cunningham
