I went there just to get gas. My card wouldn't work outside at the pump. So I went in. And the employee inside told me its always like this with the gas pumps card machine. Worst experience ever just to pump some gas in the winter. Convenience. Not. Definitely a Con.
They changed their pizza which was a horrible decision. The only good thing about cumbies was their excellent and affordable pizza now it sucks now cumbies sucks. Change it back and I'll change my review.
Delightfully modern branch of Cumberland Farms. All installations in impeccable shape. The location is spotless, and the two younger employees very personable. Wide selection of hot beverages such as coffess, teas, cappuccinos, hot chocolates and the like. Refrigerators stocked with all sorts of sodas, juices, bottled waters and beer. The slushy-shake machine combines the best (or worst) of sugar with a casino experience by entertaining the kids with a display of lights as the machine prepares the peel-open shake. On-site are a pump for tire-air and a vacuum for cleaning one's car's interior. CAREFUL with the egress onto North Maple Avenue since it is very busy (review conducted around 3pm midweek) and approaches at an odd angle!
I went over there today to buy cigarettes, since I’m not a US citizen, I had my passport with me which clearly states that I am of age to buy them. There were two employees working, Emma who I knew and another tall male, who refused to accept my document as proof of age. After questioning him further he claimed that it’s company policy that he needs US identification and that he would lose his job if he sold them to me and asked me if “I would employ him if he lost his job”. I get that there is not requirement for any sort of education to work at a gas station, however I believe common sense is an important skill to teach your employees. And if this truly is company policy, I urge you to reconsider how tourists and other temporary visitors are assessed as part of your identification procedures.
Was recently at the Gas station here and one of the employees rudely approached me while I was on the phone by the back of the gas station where the cooler is located and said that I should have more respect for my father and not talk to him so rudely when she had no idea what the situation was nor even why I was arguing loudly with the person I was on the phone with
