This supermarket is a standout. It boasts an enormous location with an incredible variety of products across countless aisles. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a vibrant produce section, followed by a butcher shop that outdoes any standalone butcher in terms of quality and selection. The fish store is a seafood lover's paradise, offering an amazing array of fresh catches. And let's not forget the bakery - it's a haven for pastry enthusiasts, with mouthwatering treats and artisanal breads galore. You'll also find a fantastic selection of nuts, candies, and other gourmet goodies. Plus, they have all the essentials for your household needs, from pantry staples to cleaning supplies. This supermarket truly has it all.
I have to give 1 star and it has nothing to do with the products or store itself. The employees that work there are just awful. I have been working for Doordash and Instacart for years and I have been to countless stores all over NY and NJ. I have never and I mean NEVER encountered such rude, dismissive, nasty, unwilling to help people in my life. Granted I haven't been to many Kosher stores over the years to go shopping as I am not Jewish, but I have NEVER been treated like that anywhere else I've shopped in my life. It was so jarring, I honestly couldn't wait to write this review in hopes the right people will see it. If I ate Kosher and this was my local supermarket, I would NEVER give them my money after being treated like I'm nothing just by asking an employee where an item is. Isn't that what they are there for, to help? I'm not basing this off only one or two interactions either. Literally 5 or more different people in different departments all had attitudes while mumbling, barely responding, they are acting so bothered to be asked a simple question and a couple people straight up ignored me. Even the people at the register were cold and dismissive, they were slightly nicer and more patient than the people on the floor but still very cold compared to anywhere else I shop. I'm sure they are overworked and underpaid but hey aren't we all. If you don't like your job that bad go work somewhere else, stop taking it out on the world. The people who shop there are the reason why they even have their jobs. Maybe the community is used to it and they don't care but I'm still very upset about it and will probably avoid taking deliveries from there from now on. And for the record the people who work there that I am referring to are not Jewish and that's what was even more shocking. I can't even imagine how they treat the regular customers if they were treating me like that. Just horrible!
