They have the healthiest and most diversified selection of plants in the city, especially the big sized ones. You have to see them in person to know how beautiful those plants are. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable. They also have a “doctor” in the house who takes great care of the plants and can help you repot the plants when they grow bigger. The plants I got from them thrive in our home with just sunshine and water. See the photos by yourself! This place is a hidden gem.

Next time you’re stopping by Black Star for coffee, make sure to stroll around in here! This place is such a hidden gem. While it looks beautiful from the outside, the inside is deceivingly large and packed with so many treasures! I came in for a potted plant but realized I have to come back for the fresh flowers, including imported Dutch hydrangea that were so vibrant In color they looked fake. They also have orchids that are unlike any I’ve ever seen. Staff is so sweet and helpful, and they were welcoming of my small pup.Will definitely be back.

Chris and Billy are phenomenal florists and humans! Their flowers are divine, their store is beautiful, and their customer service is the best you can ask for!! We are so happy to have found them in the neighborhood, and are so excited to continue working with them to add beauty to our home for the future :D

This is my favorite spot to get plants for our home. They have everything you could need and they have so many plants you can pick from. When we go there Billy and Fernando always help us pick what’s best for the spot we put the plant taking into consideration the sunlight and space. They give us clear instructions on how to take care of the plant and even give us some tips on what to do if they’re not growing. We’ve taken different sized potters before and they’ve refilled them with soil and planted our plant in their for us. Every time Fernando does that for us, I can feel how much he cares about the plant. He treats them so delicately and you can see that he has a passion for growing things. They also have beautiful flowers bouquets they can make if you’re looking for something fancy. Prices are reasonable for NYC standards. A truly delightful shop! Walking in felt like entering a little oasis. The gerber flowers I brought home were stunning and lasted beautifully. The staff also guided me toward two spider plants for my windowless office, arranging them with moss and stones in such an elegant way. Both thoughtful and artistic—an absolute pleasure.
