Michaels is one of those stores I can walk into for “just one thing,” and somehow end up staying way longer than I planned — in a good way. Every time I visit this location, I’m reminded why it’s my go-to place for any kind of creative project. The store is always clean, organized, and laid out in a way that makes browsing enjoyable and stress-free. What I really like about this Michaels is how easy it is to find inspiration just by walking down the aisles. Whether it’s seasonal décor, paints, craft kits, frames, or baking supplies, everything is displayed neatly and fully stocked. Even if you don’t come in with a plan, you end up leaving with ideas. I’ve grabbed things here for home projects, gifts, and even a couple of last-minute school projects, and they always seem to have exactly what I need. The staff is also a major highlight. They’re friendly, patient, and actually knowledgeable about the products. More than once, someone has gone out of their way to help me find the right size frame or point me toward the best option for a DIY project. It makes the whole experience feel personal instead of rushed. Overall, this Michaels is a great place to shop — clean store, great selection, and staff who genuinely make a difference. Definitely deserves all five stars.

Amazing store with a wide selection of arts, crafts & beaded accessories. I was able to craft an Ehecachichtli necklace with an assortment of dark & light polished mango wood with silver skulls I sourced through an online vendor & found the beautiful black leather bolo cord to string it right here In Poughkeepsie! A little pricey for only a yard. I had just enough cord to make one necklace but nonetheless a great purchase I highly recommend.

Was in store to pick an order on Black Friday a. As I get the register to pay and collect my order. The cashier, a young lady with red curly hair looked at me such disdain. She acted like she didn’t want to help. Talked to me very condescendingly and was very dismissive. Also she looking at me with a judgmental look on her face. Never have had an interaction with anyone like this before unprovoked. (Mind you I saw her do the same thing to a customer prior to ringing me up) Everyone on staff in my previous experiences of shopping at this location has been good, prior to this interaction. I hope store management and District Managers see this and talk to her about giving better customer service. The holiday season is here and I know the last thing anyone is not going to want to deal with is a judgemental cashier. As welll as the next customer me she’s rude to will probably won’t be as calm as I was. Also please don’t have the cashiers talk trash about they just service, it’s tacky and rude.

Love this store!!! The staff are always so helpful when I call! Today I spoke with Kimberly about an out of stock item and she gave me the time frame for its arrivals and offered to assist me again if need be. Very helpful and pleasant!

Pre-ordered a few mylar balloons on their website. The time options were later than I hoped, so I called the store. They were super accommodating and the balloons were ready by 9 am. The store was busy at pickup (Saturday morning) but the staff again was friendly and efficient having me on my way in under 3 minutes. Balloons( a bit costly in my opinion) looked great and added to the celebration.
