I ordered the main flower for our daughters wedding for her bridal shower first to test the quality of the large Calla Lilies. They were amazing, and I felt very confident with ordering the large Callas for the big day! The weather was extremely hot and I was very worried about being there when the flowers were delivered and just like the flowers I ordered for the shower, they delivered a day earlier than requested! Thank god I was home and they were Immediately brought inside and unpacked and placed in water. They seemed just OK on delivery, definitely not as good as those I received for the shower. By the next day, Wednesday - Some seemed to be struggling a little and turning brown on the edges. I began calling florist and thankfully the Big Y's in the surrounding areas had three pack large callas for $6.99. This was the main flower for our event and I was concerned about what the others would look like by the time the wedding rolled around on Friday evening. Unfortunately, I didn't read their policy which is you have to call within 24 hours of the flowers being delivered which at that point they looked OK and I did not. Be aware of this company as they do not care whether or not the flowers live until your event they only care upon what they look like at delivery. In the end, we lost more than 50% of what we purchased . They offered no refund of any kind, no concern of any kind. I had to purchase everything I could from local supermarkets. I'm very thankful to Big Y for helping us get all we could- all their store florists reached out to other Big Y florists (without our asking them to do so) And had them set them aside for us! We had to adjust our arrangements still even with their help we fell short. Our 6 main ceremony arrangements had only three/four large Callas in them, and we filled with large beautiful garden roses from another Wholesale farm. Our round tables were to have seven large Callas in terra-cotta pots covered in moss and none of them had seven, they had four or five, huge difference that really impacted the look we wanted! I was stunned by the lack of concern or acknowledgment of our experience in any way from Flower Explosion. If your flowers aren't perfect or if they arrive early, photograph & call immediately!
