They have improved a lot since last year. Everything looks better placed on the shelves and it looks like the establishment is well maintained.
Very poor selection of almost everything, especially in meats, cheeses, and produce. This is a full sized supermarket with one type of cheddar cheese, for example (and it's not any good!). The prices are ridiculously high (I can only assume they are taking advantage after the nearby Stop and Shop moving out) and the layout is maddening, made worse by the main entrance being at the center - you'll be doing a lot of doubling back.
I've never thought to write a review for a grocery store cause honestly it's a dime a dozen situation. But today I must say, the staff are beyond rude. The self checkout froze after I had paid, I received a receipt and a withdraw from my bank account of the transaction. Three employees had me return, thought I faked my transaction, and pressured/harassed me to show my bank statement. My apple pay receipt in my phone wasn't enough,they insisted on it being my actual account. Mind you I would have complied better if the workers didn't treat me as if I was a theif and circled me. Shoot this must happen often due to how quickly the situation escalated and fast the threats of police involvement came when I was showing all proof of payment already. Regardless won't be returning after today.
Terrible store. completely understaffed and horrendous lines. dont shop on saturday afternoon or later because they like to change prices before closing that day for the next week because they dont have a night shift. owners a real piece of work too, total "anything for profit guy." and the exact image of micromanager. WILL NOT do anything unless you email and complain to corporate first. response? "please call our stores general number or come on in" specifically so he doesnt have to put anything in writing and have it sent back to corporate? the people who will actually correct him when hes wrong.
Decent large food store with typical American fare. Not a place to find anything more elegant or elaborate, but has all your basics.
