Glad to have anthro back, but this store just seems different than other anthro stores. And there is no sale rack. Otherwise it is fine. I will likely take the extra time to go to the Greenwich store instead. Update: They added a sale section 🤗

Manager on duty “Jillian” (or so I was told that was her name), was absolutely rude and dismissive towards me. I came in looking for a present for my mother for Christmas and she seemed displeased and uninterested in helping me at all. Mind you I don’t look like a normal Anthropologie shopper covered in tattoos and somewhat rugged looking. She made me feel out of place and unwanted there. Very uncomfortable. I soon left to check out free people who on the other hand were wonderful and extremely helpful and welcoming. I have no idea how she received the role of “manager” since her behavior seems to drive customers away rather than invite them in to what should have been an easy shopping experience. Overall I felt very uneasy dealing with her and left immediately. If that’s the kind of attitude that is encouraged by there “management” staff. I hope to contact corporate to report the incompetent employees they have on staff particularly “Jillian”. Extremely stuck up and dismissive of any customer they don’t feel worthy of being in their store. I absolutely will not be returning there to shop.
Stopped by "The Westchester " Anthropology shop and noticed that the store that has always been a go to place for a "something a little different " type of gift source is closing in less than 2 weeks. Another sad casualty of the online retail onslaught. But at least for now the Greenwich store will remain open. But now to buy their merchandise I'll have to drive another 15 minutes each way...or maybe be able to save gas and time and go online ... ironic, isn't it?
Friendly, helpful customer service... very pleasant shopping experience. Smells so relaxing there! Changing areas and rooms are large and artsy.
