Whole Foods Market

I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at this Whole Foods location. This is the second or third time that I’ve had issues with unauthorized substitutions on my online order. I specifically selected my preferred substitution items, and when those weren’t available, the shopper chose completely different products without my approval. If my selected substitutions aren’t available, I would much rather receive a refund than have random items added to my order. I expect better attention to customer preferences, especially when clear substitution instructions are provided. I hope this location improves communication and respects customers’ selections moving forward.

Signage in isles can be better. Looking for juice no sign. Store was clean but cluttered.

It’s a shame how the White Plains store declined. I don’t do negative reviews, as one or two experiences may not be the norm. I rely on better markets for my job. Shopping for private aviation catering happens daily. at $200-$300 a pop. Ive used WF’s in WP over the years with reliability. Yesterday evening @5:15, was qute different. Every soup was empty and literally stuck and burnt to the bottom of the pots. I asked the two guys talking behind the counter if they’d be replenishing any of them. “Naahhh, I doubt it, let me ask.. and if we do it’ll be awhile”. Seemed like a we dont want to but if we have to kind of approach.. Grabbed an alternative, asked an employee stocking bread if it was possible to buy a single roll. She literally said. “Nope, maybe earlier but not now”. Grabbed a pack of rolls, went to sit down, no forks- asked if I could get a fork.. “I don't work over here”. At this point it’s almost funny… I could see if it was near closing time, but this store is literally set up to encourage in store “dining”. Today, @ 1:30 … same thing- the tortellini soup that was stuck to the bottom of the pot last night, is empty and dried up again today, during lunchtime. The hot bar chaffing dishes are either empty or dried up remains. If this is the food safety standards for all to see, Id hate to what happens behind the scenes. I will say the guys at customer service, juice bar and the girl at self check out; should be commended for their ability to down play their awareness of the decline while remaining pleasant with a sense of humor.

Whole shelves empty! Virtually no bagels in a New York store! Is there a manager? Do they understand how to run a store?

I get my groceries delivered from this Whole Foods and they have a wonderful selection! The produce and fruits are always top notch. They also have some very good prepared meals that you can just throw in the microwave which is super easy.
