Andrew’s Florist & Gift Shop was so easy and friendly to work with and working with them for our wedding was straight forward in the best way. They were great communicators and honest about their abilities and availability of certain flowers. They maintained and followed through on a design created a year earlier and perfectly executed it on our wedding day. I had a very particular vision for our wedding florals and they created something even beyond my expectations. They consistently work with our venue, Hawkesdene, so our florals seamlessly, almost magically, appeared. And for such fantastic work, their price point is super affordable and extremely fair. Also because they were local, we had no minimums, which was super important for our very small intimate wedding. An absolute delight!
Completely unsatisfied and defeated with my experience with Andrews florist for my wedding. To start, MANY (almost half) of the flowers were damaged from being handled too roughly when they were put together. The floral boxes were supposed to have purple orchids in them to contrast the white orchids These different colors were also specified in the order form & I received completely white boxes that just don’t pop at all. They really played up how I “got a steal” because they had been misquoted on pricing but I genuinely think they skimped on my flowers when they realized they would have to pay more. If that’s the case, I should have been called and asked to pay a little additional to receive what I really wanted. Instead, I received damaged flowers that were missing a big component. I can’t even have the photographer take close ups without feeling embarrassed that half the flowers are limp and damaged. I understand orchids are not typical for a wedding bouquet, but if they were not comfortable working with them, they shouldn’t have agreed to take on my order. And to suggest I should take purple orchid buds from MY bouquet to put in the boxes THEY DIDN'T MAKE RIGHT (as the lady suggested) just really blows my mind. We haven’t even had our wedding yet (I’m writing this on our way to the venue) and I am in tears from the lack of care and skill taken with my wedding flowers… Edit: we went to Ingles and bought purple orchids to add to our boxes and they were prettier than the ones we received from the florist. Pretty sad when grocery store flowers are the better option.
Yes I order flowers for my friends mothers funeral, Shanon the Manager was so awesome and extremely nice. They had exactly what we wanted to send and she was very helpful in suggesting things to say and decorating the plant we wanted to send,a a 10 inch “Peace Lilly”. Great service I give them a 5 Star rating!!
Always beyond pleased with their work!!! Absolutely stunning arrangements and amazing customer service! So of course I used them for my wedding and the flowers were far better than I could have ever imagined! Highly highly HIGHLY recommend! ❤️
Came in from out of state for a wedding. The florist we used from our home area was way off on the bridal bouquet. It turned out to be nothing like what the bride had asked for. In a desperate attempt to salvage the day we turned to Andrews Florist. They were not able to provide a complete bouquet with the out of season flowers the bride wanted, but, what they did do was go above and beyond to help in any way they could. They provide us many options to take with us to try and add to the bouquet and did so at great prices. It ended up perfect. Extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend them.
